Do they price match Option1 like the adelaide tyrepower on Kuhmos?

Customer service sucks at Adeliade tyrepower - 2 days called in a row, he said he'll check with his Kuhmo provider and then get back to me... Both days he didnt call.. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I hate it when people dont go through with promises

was about to say it, but dave beat me to it

yeah, theyre a bit average recently. sort of annoying. but theyve had one bloke quit, and anothers taking time off for his wedding, so theyre a little undermanned. if you havent got your quote by tomorrow, im heading down there for some prices for someone else, so ill quote up yours aswell. 235/45's yeah?

more than a lil undermanned dave, terry and sharon are gone as well as troy, so its basically adam and chris running the show LOL. was talkin to chris today and they've been flat out all week

things SHOULD return to normal in the next week or so. ive had cases like that before, where it takes some time for them to get back to you. Plenty of other businesses have done that, some dont even ring you back as promised (especially getting quotes on 400 bucks worth of gauges)

Thanks Andrew (Nightcrawler) for the ticket to the Clipsal today. Had a great time and thought you guys might appreciate some of the pics.

Apparently there were cars there as well...

No worries David, glad you enjoyed the day.

I have managed to sell all of the extra 4 tickets for tomorrow, so just have 1 spare Gold Pit Entry ticket (a nice seat) for Sunday left for $50 if anyone knows anyone. General admission normally costs $85 fyi, so even if you just buy it to get entry to the track it is a great deal.

hey david after carful viewing of your pics the fujitsu girl is the prettyest one of them all

I agree but she didn't seem all that bright as she kept stuffing up the spiel they had been instructed to tell everyone. Not that I would hold that against her - maybe she was nervous in my presence

I quite liked the Norton's girl as well, a better height match too although the Fujitsu girl was wearing FMBs with a lot of heel.

I took a photo of Andrew with 3 of the Fujitsu girls that he posted in Facebook that were probably the best trio we encountered all day. There were a couple of promo girls that we bypassed as ... well... they looked a bit... um... skanky.

Ive heard some pretty horrific stories about some of those promo girls from people... more than once...

anyway, the photo with the JD girls, the one on the left looks like someone I went to school with.

Actually I give kudos to the girls.

They are working all day, usually in heels, with guys all day asking to have photos taken with them which they dutifully do and smile in. Some of these guys would be trying to cop a feel or squeeze something that doesn't belong to them. Andrew, Nick and I did the promo girl cruise about 3pm and you could tell quite a few of them were pretty tired but they were all friendly and all smiled for us.

Of course they get paid good $ as well so that helps but it would be a long, hot day with a bunch off strangers touching you all day and leering from a distance.

Pretty sure the JD girl on the far left used to work at (maybe still does?) the Modbury Plaza Hotel

so, anyone not going to the race today that has a bit of auto elec knowledge want to help me out? need to suss out my spotties badly, sick of not having them (especially after drowning my headlights last weekend and losing some of the reflector LOL). from what ive checked of the wiring its all good, someone did mention in passing that where im getting the trigger from may not be triggering the relay quick enough, so its popping the fuse instead

ive got a house elec job to do around lunchtime, so pretty much after that im available. will even come to you

a 3G dongle? not by plugging it directly in to a playstation. You would need to share it over an existing wired/wireless network and even then the 3G connection will be way too laggy to do any gaming.

Yes and No

Yes - You will need a Aximcom 3G router or Billion Modem Router, price will be ~$250-$350. 3G dongle shall plug into these devices and then hand out the signal either via Ethernet or Wireless. The WEP code is for Wireless networking - between pc's.

No - Plugging the device into the PS3 will not do anything, as the device needs a program to run correctly, and it is windows based, where as the PS3 is...Sony based :( .

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
