Saw so many skylines today on the way home from work.

First I saw a bright red GTR going the opposite way on Elizabeth Dr, one of the hottest GTRs I have ever seen!

Then on the hume highway I was behind a silver S2 with number plates bad5?? it turned off somewhere around Casula.

Also at an intersection around liverpool was an orange r32.

Also saw white GTR either yesterday or this morning on the hume highway.

spotted a r33 blue with white rims and numbers on the side from wsid

spotted a stocky r33 on pacific highway..

spotted a rather mature woman, grey hair and all in a r32 gtr pulling out of a side street... had a big cooler and stuff on it...

Saw "NOT ME" gunmetal grey (?) R33 GTR going down James Ruse Dr yesterday afternoon - Souded very nice!

And also saw a nice white R33 GTR (black on white plates i think?) driving north on Pennant Hills Rd near Carlingford - Giving his BOV a workout next to my ear

Yeah that bright red GTR was probably 'turbos'.. Its definitely the phat'est red 34 I've seen for a while!

He was at CRD at about 2:30 pm yesterday .

Saw a nice looking black r32 parked next to me at work in homebush <_<

Also spotted a nice R34 and red r33 GTR on figtree drive homebush. Parked there every day.... How you beat those parking rangers i'll never know....

Keep an eye out for the white r33!

Theres a few QF people on here E_Lu-SHuN although I'm escaping next week. At least 4 others I can think of, 2 pilots, one in ETOMS. And there is a nice yellow 33 and a gunmetal 32 4 door in the APC carpark but not on the forums I think.

Are you in QFCL?

    • It's almost certainly a reluctor generating an "AC" waveform. No, ECUs don't generally read those - they're usually set up for PWM square wave 0-5v stuff.
    • Working through possible solutions of converting my mechanical speedo.    Anyone know what type of speedo sensor the factory r34 gtr getrag has ? what the output is ? I assume its not a VSS and more a voltage like earlier speedo sensors ? Can an ECU read it ?

    • I can get more photos of it here soon and I plan to make a thread detailing the process. I received the car this way and it sorely needs refinishing. That is probably the most appealing photo of it. Up close it is fading, cracked, and needs to be re-glued. Depending on their condition I'm on the fence between refinishing or making a new set.  Another angle hiding the pimples and razor pumps
    • According to this thread the RS4V with build plate RC40 comes with the R200 diff @ 4.083 ratio as well (mine has said RC40 denotation). We may need to check if the axle stubs are the same pattern as well. The auto subframes have longer axles. However I think yours being a later Series 2 as well, we should have the same bolt pattern for the diff stubs. Unless your upgraded rear also has upgraded axles. Either way, I would not be opposed to pulling the covers to check so I can inspect that  fancy rear core  Also I don't have HICAS. I don't believe that should change things but I hope the people here with heaps more experience than me can correct me if I'm wrong   Let me know if you want to attempt to make this work and I can get some pictures of mine from under the car.
