Sorry about that guys, we just missed the light, Blame Ash for talking for too long

Happy to try again at some stage at earlier part of the evening

i'm gonna pass on these ones.... you cant actually see my car

lol

Nice try guys but I think time of day + positioning didn't really pay off on this one...was still a good mini meet lol. Who's up for round 2?

TJ got some front and centre action atleast lol. Didn't really agree with the salute to the Stagea, no offence TJ but it is predominantly a Skyline car club

Yes well considering what time we got there unfortunately this was the best we could expect, considering the time of night

If we had been leaving at 8pm as Wayne had wanted then i think it would have been a very different story

Oh well cant please eveyone

Also Birds if you note from last nights AGM that we aren't a predominantly Skyline club we have a big mix of non skylines, so why cant the Stagea be front and centre ?

Shots turned out great! Lucky to get a front position too  Was a good meeting for the people that rocked up, it was very informative on how the club is going. Great to know we're going strong!

Turned out to be a nice little meet and met lot a friendly people and had some good talks. Good night overall.

generally you would want something a little less COMMON as the centrepiece, so a very CLEAN STAGEA looks good in the middle

only thing that would of worked better in the middle would be been an R35 GTR...

no point having a 33 as the centrepiece, they arent exactly unique, and there would be too many others in the shot :)

agreed!

plus we wanted everything evenly spaced

yeah James these will be framed. For once my car actually looks like its ment to be there, not just hanging around up the back.

Your all facing my car cause your trying to absorb some of my stealthy-ness

cheers ryan :)

I'm well aware we have a big mix of non Skylines but the most popular cars in the club are Skylines. The club wouldn't exist if it weren't for Skylines. And well, Skylines Australia Victoria...it's in the name. I don't think any car should have been front and centre to be honest, nor have a heap of cars pointing towards one...but if you're going to do that then it should probably be a Skyline. I'm not trying to Nazi the photoshoot; just putting forth my opinion that I didn't agree with the setup of cars. Forgive me for having the honesty to give you guys some constructive criticism. I'd have purchased a full sized print if I could see more than 15% of my car, as would others I'm guessing. The time of night was probably better suited to individual car shots IMO.

Well like I said, You cant please everyone

Well if i know what people were expecting or wanted then I could have planned better, but as we had virtually no light I worked with what I had.

It is this kind of non appreciation that makes me wonder why I should give up my time to do this for the club and its members

Why are you viewing it as non-appreciation? I said "nice try" and I like the others appreciate the time you guys took to make an appearance at the meeting/photoshoot...but why can't I disagree with the photoshoot without it being seen as non-appreciation? That isn't very professional IMO.

/end my contribution to this thread. Thank you.

    • Well, my new WMI system took much longer to finalize. I actually missed my dyno appointment last Friday and lost my 150$ deposit. I'll be going back in the next week or two.  To sum it up. I only kept the AEM tank from my old setup. I replaced the AEM pump with a higher flow/pressure ProMeth 30GPH pump. I also swapped over to a 6AN low pressure feed line to the pump from the tank. There's also a pressure switch you cannot see on the pump high pressure line.    This is feeding 6x 200CC direct port nozzles and 1x 500CC Pre Throttle body nozzle. All fittings are Swagelok, because well why not. I also have a 300PSI pressure sensor up front.    I now have my Haltech ECU controlling everything. I start my pump with a basic relay at 5PSI and deadhead it. I then PWM a 3000CC methanol Injector to control flow starting around 10psi. The pressure switch in the trunk, along with my tank level are safeties before I ever get to 10PSI, and then I use my pressure sensor upfront as a secondary safety to cut the WMI and corrections in case the injector blocks or a line ruptures.  Wish me luck on the dyno!
    • So, I'm back with bad news. There's no jack long enough on this planet that will reach the front subframe. If by some chance there is, it would weigh 200lb's.  I purchased a long reach jack... The damn thing weighted 120lb's and was massive. Didn't even come close, was still short at least a foot. It was a pain, but I brought it back. Next I decided HA! No problem, I'll get an Extra long reach jack. Well, I couldn't lift the box... It must have weighed 160LB's and luckily there was an open box in store. I took measurement and was still nowhere close.  Sadly I've lost hope and have accepted defeat.
    • Thanks for that tip, niZmO_Man. I think the battery is OK. It's quite a new one, but I'll check. Last time I needed a new battery, everything electronic was fine, except that there wasn't enough current to turn over the starter. I decided to order one of the partial AV system translation CDs from Car Audio Workshop in NZ. That might have some effect, or help me diagnose the date problem. 🤞
    • I suppose it was relatively stock too, the JZ motor handle most mods thrown at them without even breaking a sweat
    • I saw your intro update, are you sure you've actually had a starter motor failure? You mention it could be the alarm causing it. I'm assuming you've got a no start issue, but what are the exact symptoms, as there could be a few reasons it has stopped wanting to start.
