umm two r33 yesterday near the libary at tuggas in the carpark

one was green and very low with no wing and non-matchin wheels

and the other was grey with white mags and a nice zorst with a chrome nissan badge

well yes, the x trail wasn't going anywhere excpet on the back of a truck, whereas the skyline was still driveable.....

Just lucky it wasn't REAL 4x4.

Yepp, unfortunately it was me.

Everyone is OK, nobody was hurt etc, but it was a pretty hard hit. I've had a smash repair place around to have a look at my car today and it looks like a very close right off, but without pulling it to bits it's a bit hard to tell.

Basically guys, I checked for traffic twice, but I should've checked three times. Not good, not good at all. I still feel sick in the stomach for all the hassles that I've put the other person through. If you talk to any of my friends they will tell you that I am the safest driver out of all my friends, but it just goes to show that accidents can happen to anyone.

I'm finding it a bit hard to find a panel shop to fix the car (if it's not written off), does anyone have any ideas? The fella's that were around this morning were from Custom Kolours who do all the work for Fast and the Furious, as well as a heap of work for the Summer Nats cars.

So far I've phoned Tony Farrugia, Grace, and Edwards.

It happens to all of us mate, my condolences go out to you. Ive had almost a similar thing happen to me, so yeah as said it happens to all of us.

Barret Bros in Fyshwick are reasonably good panel beaters, along with David Smash Repairs out in Queanbeyan (have had experiance with both in previous/families cars).

Looks like the insurance company is arranging for an asessor to come out to my house where the car is to see if it's written off or worth repairing. Not sure when they are due out (the smash repair place passed this info on) so I'll just wait for a call.

I'd say there's around $15k worth of damage there
