they do have a point tho, with the number of people that can afford a GTSt on the rise, and with compliance easily available on the 33, and with the 32 GTR's and GTSt's coming into 15yr compliance at the end of next yr.... the number of dicks that can own cars like ours will only increase. This could potentially lead to people generalising the fine folk in our society/club as people like them.

So either we impose vigilante style renegade skyline driver bashings... or we put up with shit from fast four primary school..

besides, who in their right mind keeps a skyline stock... lol i can just picture excel drivers reading fast fours goin out on the hunt looking for stock skylines to beat :D

Whoa funkymonkey! I only bought my r33 gtst because I couldn't afford an r34! haha

Eh, leave them be, they're just jealous because our forums aren't filled with (many) raving lunatics..hehe

Although I remember a few weeks ago after PF were dissed (on either FF or Hot4s, it's all the same to me) some of their members started posting some crazy shiznit up there. Pretty funny.

actually ... an excel turboed will hand alot of r32 and r33 their asses that was proven on the last adelaide ls1, sau drag day... but spend that same amount of money on a 33 or 32 or whatever ... and again expect the excel to get its ass handed on a platter ;) .. idiots ... how could u compare a skyline to an excel ... LOL

So true hippy

Today i went for a drive with a mate, he just bought a 93 r33 completely stock he just added pod and thats iiiiiiit.

We were rolling next to a monaro that obviously had something done to it.. new monaro i mean

well it so happened we got a set of lights, decided to see how we go being stockrock

it pulled away in 1st by second he was no longer moving away from us.. but way already about 10 metres in front and we werent gaining at all

next lights the people in the monaro couldnt get enough that theyd beaten a skyline, first thing i said

"Nice mate, nice, didnt think they were that fast, but wouldnt buy one considering there $60,000"

He says "Beat the shit outta you"

Me "This is dead stock brother, it cost my mate $15,700, imagine if he spent $44,300 on it" ;)

"I think Excel's are good - cops doesn't go pound them and fit a turbo in there...should hand a lot of the R32/R33 stocko owners a new arse."

Ummmm is this the "New" style of english they are teaching in school lately....

what the hell does that mean.... cops dont pound them ..fit a turbo in there...

maybe im just gettin old.....

Hmm you can subtract that fast, woo.

ahahahhah lol who cares... kids will turn to men one day... then they'll think the save way for the rest of their lives... "SKYLINES = SHIT" you gotta teach em while they are young.... if not physically... some should setup some eastern creek shoot outs... ahhaha lol just a thought.. or will could all just meet them up and pound them to the ground its up to u guys

leave them to their immaturity.

I dislike commodores but I don't go round forums starting "commodore haters" threads, in fact a friend of mine at work loves his V8 commodres and respect to him for building a car that would eat mine alive, that's the dfference between us and them. We have the maturity to realise that not all cars are for everyone. Some people like muscly V8's, others like all show and no go, and others again like revvy N/A's. We all have our own taste and preference. I am sure people think that my car is a Jap rice box simply because it's a japanese 4 cylinder turbo but hey, doesn't bother me because I love my car.

Take it easy fellas.

You know they just want to provoke a reaction.

They'd like nothing better at the end of the day than to have some Skyline owners register on their forum for the sole purpose of defending their rides.

The bottom line is that we're driving the cars that win on the track, strip, street and dynos.

And they're still driving shopping trolleys and their mum's cars.

Every type of car has their haters. I'm sure the WRX boys have had this sort of 'love' before us.

    • GCG is a good company, they're a major distributor for Garrett in Japan as well.
    • Nah, OEM washer bottle and brake fluid reservoirs are fine I don't know what it is with the plastic that Mazda used, some plastics, like the washer bottle and brake fluid res are fine, and still look new after 20 years use, where as the coolant expansion tank, and PS reservoir, that I replaced with new OEM items when I first got the car, turned yellow and started getting brittle a few years later If the dirty yellow stained plastics didn't trigger me there wouldn't be an issue, but they did, much like the battery bracket....... Meh As for going back to work full time to support car stuff, nope, why, because I own a Mazda NC MX5, not a Nissan R series Skyline 🤣
    • I've never heard of CJ-motor, so can't advise you on them. I'd just go straight to GCG for a GCG highflow though. Seems no point to use a middleman. I'm somewhat surprised that the price on the CJ site is lower than the GCG retail price. Even though CJ would get a discount of some sort, you would hardly expect them to give up so much margin. Maybe the price is out of date? Having said that "I'd go to GCG"...when I did my highflow, I went to Hypergear. I did this https://hypergearturbos.com/product/rb25dethighflow/#tab-dyno-results with the R34 OP6 450HP profile. With the BB centre (extra $400) and intially with the standard boost actuator, but I eventually got him to send me the high pressure one when I got to the point of being able to actually use it. Ends up costing the same sort of money as the GCG highflow, but this is, of course, the turbo that I KNOW has a shorter length core and so moves the comp cover rearwards. The GCG apparently doesn't do that. My mechanic also swears by the GCG highflow, given that we have another turbo rebuilder who does something essentialy the same as theirs, using Garrett wheels. He says it stands up at really low revs and makes good power. I haven't pushed my HG highflow past ~240-250rwkW yet (should have a little more in it, but unclear how much) and it does have a fairly gentle boost ramp. OK, it's much better now that I have gotten my boost controller tuned up on it.  A lot of my earlier unhappiness was because I couldn't keep the wastegate flap as closed as it needed to be (including some mechanical issues). I'd still prefer it to boost up nearly as quickly as the stocker, and it certainly a bit slower than that. So maybe the GCG one is worth the first look (for you).
    • Ok thanks 🙂 I will higly consider this. Any "known" company for a good reviews and experience to send that off? Is that CJ-motor good one? Or go straight to GCG site? I need to use VPN to even find some of those "shops" let alone access them 🙂
    • You can literally put in as much WMI as it takes to quench the combustion totally (and then back it off a little, obviously), and it will keep making more and more power. The power comes from the cooling effect of the water (and the meth) and the extra fuel (the meth, which also has massive octane). It is effectively exactly like running E85. One might be slightly better than the other, but they are damn close. But with either you can lean on the boost or the timing (or both) waaaay more than with just petrol and the results are similar. Here's the first thing I googled for an anecdotal bit of evidence. Can't access the attachment without being a gold member, but it is there for the getting if able to, or searched up elsewise perhaps. https://www.hpacademy.com/forum/general-tuning-discussion/show/wmi-vs-e85/
