there is a really nice silver v35 at jap cars atm

62000kms its the test car for compliance (for car to bring it to get the compliance plate) so its immac

but its a 5speed auto and not premium edition

but was listed at $27k drive away dennis quoted $25k drive away with year rego etc

prob could get even cheaper if you tried

just saw over 100 commodores pull out of an industrial street onto ferntree gully road at around 1:40am.

Does anyone know what was happening? Driving down an empty road and then there is a massive convoy of cars spilling out of a dark street haha

does the GTIR pulsar have anything in common with the skyline gtr

is the 4wd system even remotely similar?

the transfer system is. there ends the similarity. AWD bias, direction etc is all different. GTIR > GTR ATTESA personally

f**k i hate it when people stereotype you because you own a skyline.

I've just put a sub and box in my car and now suddenly i'm a fully sick try hard wanna be leb in my fully sick skyline.

shuuu cuzz???

Lol who cares what others think man. Look at my car lol + I got 2 12 inch subs in there too

dw that stereotype will soon disappear.

Just saw southern cross sticker on the back window of a banged up non-turbo r33 sedan :)

yeah just thinking - people call them the baby gtr

If you're thinking of getting one be prepared to spend a lot of money on maintenance. So in that respect they're very similar to an R32 GT-R, they're getting on in years and they're expensive to maintain.

Oh, and you'll love dropping the engine to change a clutch. Their gearboxes aren't the strongest things around either. And they don't handle fantastically, weight distribution isn't great. Other than that they're cool little things. They had the best SR20DET that was ever released, quad throttle bodies, the biggest turbo on any SR20DET.

nah wasnt thinking of buying one

i was at the car wash the other day and GTRDNA came in, gtir pulsar and i got me thinking how much do they even have in common

the only common item i knew of was individual throttle bodies. the rest is similar, but not the same, i mean we could say a WRX has GTR DNA as its 4wd turbo blah blah so anyhoo its not really gtr dna or a baby gtr

They call them Baby Godzillas, not baby GTR's

commodore is fine for a first car ?

what do you expect him to buy for 5k ? sounds reasonable

my first car was a vl calais auto, was fine, pretty relibable, didnt miss a beat

it's not his first car it will be his 3rd car his first car was a rolla KE35 (beast) car he has now VN wants to sell it and buy a VP. Got him thinking about a soarer

5K? buy an S13. If he wants reliable maybe direct him to a Cressida. RWD, not bad looks, relatively fun to drive, and reliable as fuck... until you start modding it.

Later down the track he can chuck a 1JZ in, lock the diff and rip some skids for the 'tarded kids.

    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
    • I do have loctite 243 and 246 and a few more models. I could drill it now in place and make new threads for m12 and order an4 - m12 coupling and fit that to the turbo. Run a braided hose to the EBC which I could get a an4 to 1/8npt
