Dude I was scared for you, I was following close but your car was all over the place!!

You need Coilovers and sway bars immediately!!!

I was scared for all of us at times given the hard braking and err:.. 'drafting' going on :P how's ur lip billy? Hehe

Rim spec spend a bit extra and get a nicely modified gtr and you'll still have money left over for the work car.

Modified 33gtr + work car > m3

nah dont want a modified gtr engine wise has to be stock

but yeah it would be the wiser/least selfish thing to do

and not sure if you mean you wouldn't modify it, or you want a stock one because you think it will be less thrashed, but don't always assume modified means thrashed..Often means that the person has the money to look after it properly, and might actually respect it..

ah in that case buy one for ~$20k, throw some wheels and suspension at it and you're done for ~$26k

mmm something like that

Stock or modded, no difference really.

If you want untrashed car, buy new car.

stock - you'll get pulled over and let off.

modded - you wont get let off

Buy mine :D

Nah not ready to get rid of it just yet still having my fun :P

now i know not to buy yours :P

but it has the right colour combo and is series 3 = win. if you dont mind me asking what did you pay for it?

22.5, if my memory serves me correctly (just came with a cat-back system and rims). I don't mind talking about what I paid - sure I could of gotten one of the cheaper ones but I wanted this one and that was that, its a 98 as well which I'm happy about last year they were made only real issue is there was a small crack on the front lip but dads pretty handy with fixing plastic and shit around the house so fixed it awesome for me back to its normal strength.

ah thats alright. yeah it would have to be a 98, dont wanna go backwards age wise

Just buy stock looking modded GTR.

that wont help when you get pulled over :rolleyes:zero hassles meaning i dont wanna spend a cent clearing defects/EPAs and i'd like to drive it anytime i want stress free

Just do the basics exhaust, intake, boost just make sure you get a quiet exhaust.

basics are fine. thing is i plan on keeping my next car for atleast 3 years so i rather it lasts, than to make it go quicker and shorten its life

im still keeping the M3 and a 34R as options but atm leaning towards the 33. fml.

I never had issues with my previous GTR and my current GTR both has aftermarket turbos and noisy exhaust (granted that I don't drive 32R much).

It sounds like you're after stockest of the stock. Good luck finding one.

    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
