Want another GTR but have looked at Supra, RX7, Chaser etc...

Struggling with this one, I have a feeling I'll end up with another Skyline, we'll see.

Got another interview on tuesday @ the body shop office doing i.t support lol and apparently includes travel across the country fingers crossed

Hopefully I can get this, maybe go for evo 9 or 10 then :D

Grant - Buy mine and ill respray it black for you :D

Paul - Whats the job again? and congrats :)

i checked out nick's evo 7

such a nice car

i reckon not as bad ass as a skyline gtr

but a much better all rounder car

Yeah, well thats just it also only ever owned R33s so would love to go down another path.

Don't see my car selling anytime soon though so will prob have it till July

Nicks evo is sexy

had a guy call up saying he has a z32.. went on and on about how awesome the sound gear is and its got coilys bla bla

so i started to actually consider it.. and he goes yeahh drive up to sydney n ill do cash your way

im thinking sweet i can do that

then he goes "but the 300zx blew a head gasket" to which i reply "engine out"

i think he got the joke lol

tl;dr

this is you trying to sell your car:

I honestly think by the time you actually find a seller for your car, you'll actually be able to drive it legally.

i got bored and called the vicroads exemptions office and started ranting about how a GTS4 is NOT a performance oriented model as it was made for towing bla bla bla

the failed exemption got referred to the engineers.. they are supposed to call me later today or monday..

bahhhahahahahahah

You got an f6 astro boy? I like the ba typhoons too

I dont own it personally, ive just been looking after it whilst a family friend has been over in Qatar. I've driven it only about 3 times the entire time I've had it. He's coming back now, but I'm helping him try and sell it. Wish it was mine to keep : (

why cant you just accept the fact that i wanted to spice things up between us?

maybe have an extra person if needed?

why do you always cut me down so hard :(

Lol, can't believe I missed this post. Awesome, just awesome.

    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
    • I do have loctite 243 and 246 and a few more models. I could drill it now in place and make new threads for m12 and order an4 - m12 coupling and fit that to the turbo. Run a braided hose to the EBC which I could get a an4 to 1/8npt
    • So M12 and sealant should be fine?    NPT ” because that’s what I had and what I could get atm.
    • Wouldn’t touch par if they gave it to me. You need to ask how much power you’re looking to make and then add about 50% to it because that’s what you’ll end up making  The factory box says no more at about 350kw or so, the upgraded synchro boxes won’t handle much over 500kw for long and at that point you’re looking at an auto or dog engagement manual,  once you’ve gone dog engagement you may as well go sequential, they cost a little bit more but it’s worth it  also while you’re at it you should upgrade the transfer case with 10 friction plates
