Guys, does any one know LokiR33? He's the only person that hasn't been in contact with me and im assuming he isn't aware that this group buy has been cut short so quickly (that's my fault I know) since he hasn't been online since the 30th of March. Maybe he's still on Easter holidays or something.

If any one knows him please let him know because I need his payment otherwise some one else can jump in with immediate payment and he can go into the next group buy or something.

I'm just waiting on a couple of payments to clear into my account but every one seems ok. If there is any problems I will contact you.

Thanks again for all the quick payments guys. I'll update you hopefully on Friday after I transfer the moeny.

Yes all payments were sucessful, i'm still waiting for one payment to clear into my account which was paid yesterday and Dori should be paying today. So all good guys

Well hopefully I can transfer the money tomorrow. Not sure how long it takes for them to see the money in their account with it being an international money transfer. So lets say they get the money by Monday. They might take a day or so to get all the kits ready, not sure whether they have that many kits sitting on the shelf or whether they have to make them. I did however email them a few days ago with a "rough" list so they knew what to expect. So lets say they leave from England the end of next week, I should have them early to mid the following week. Then I will send them express post with a tracking number to everyone so I suppose give it two weeks worse case scenario.

We are going clear PVC tubing that way the natural stainless steel braided look is retained, I think this will look the best as opposed to colours.

Not so much prevent brake fade as improve braking response. That & you'll be getting rid of hoses that are now a minimum of 12 years old for 33's

Only way to cure brake fade is with bigger/better quality rotors, pads & fluid + improved airflow in extreme cases.

Yeah braking response and the feel and feedback from the pedal should be improved depending on how bad your factory ones are. I do a lot of fast driving on a mountain up here where you are heavily on the brakes every few seconds for around 7 minutes up and 7 minutes down so this should be interesting to see how they go for that.

The main thing is our rubber brake lines are old and weak with age causing them to expand. If all four brake lines are expanding this means the brake fluid isn't being used to its maximum effectiveness and means your brake pedal and master cylinder have to work more.

Since we are all changing our fluid with this upgrade and bleeding our brakes, the combined effect should be noticable. Hopefully

when someone gets their R34 GTT kit, can you please put up some pics.

i want to see if its the same as a R33 GTST one.

just a heads up, if the R33 GTST one does not fit my car, it will be for sale.

Just curious Phil, are they being shipped to us directly from the manufacture or are they going to you then being shipped out?

They are going to me and then I am express posting them out to everyone with a tracking number. This was the easiest and cheapest way.

If it doesn't fit your car, I will give you details from some one that has PM'd me wanting to be in the next group buy. Gaurantee you won't have a problem selling it.

That'd be me, I think that I'm the only R34GTT ordered--so will do :D

    • The stock one will outperform any aftermarket standard position exhaust manifold. If you don't believe me, do a back to back test (same turbo, same boost, same timing) and you'll be super surprised.
    • Any recommendations on a decent replacement manifold that doesnt break the bank or require additional mods for the stock turbo setup? I figure if I'm going to pull the manifold off anyway to fix the studs might as well replace it.
    • So I checked the turbo out today. Very minimum play at all just enough for the oil to take up when it's running. I did find an exhaust leak at the manifold. 1 stud all the way in the front is missing and the one all the way in the back is broken off. Front has visible signs of an exhaust leak. I'll fix that soon but that's not my problem still.  I also found that the nipple coming off the turbo had the hose capped off and a hose ran from the j-pipe by the bov going to the wastegate. I removed that hose and capped that nipple and put the turbo nipple hose back on the wastegate.  There was a ton of oil residue all through the charge side of the intercooler piping going to the throttle bodg. I'm thinking that's from the pcv. Doesn't seem to be coming from the turbo that was all clean on the pipes side.  Haven't had a chance to check fuel pressure yet, haven't had time been having to pull a lot of doubles at work. I did pick up some carb cleaner to clean the iacv but wanted to make sure I had a fresh gasket in case the old one rips when I pull it off.  I'm waiting on a MAF that was supposed to be here today but delayed to Monday. Have a double Monday and Friday and work all of next weekend so going to try to find some time in the middle of the week to try that out. Did about a 10m trip around the block today and towards the end the issues were coming back. Fingers crossed on this MAF but if not just going to throw a fuel pressure gauge in and see where I'm at.  Did notice today that I can definitely hear the injectors pulsing. Very audible clicking coming from them. Assuming that's normal? Should also mean CAS is functioning somewhat properly. After it warmed up when I started it the intermittent misfires came in again. Did start doing that before it was fully warmed up.
    • This morning I carefully reinstalled the manifold and started looking at a couple of things I need to do.  Heat wrap arrived sometime today so I popped into the shed with the missus dishwashing gloves and started wrapping the first half of the dump and the screamer/plumb back.  Once I do the second half I'll be able to final fit the turbo and exhaust up.  Also pulled the harness out today and started terminating it at the ECU end. A connector is done, just need to run the remaining wires that arent in the harness - 12v, gnd and couple I/O
    • A31 is pretty much the same thing without HiAIDS I mean CAS, no improvement lol. Not to late to send it.
