If your car look nice and neat, and you stay away from the plaza on a thursday night you'll be fine.

If you're driving a fish tank with crap hanging off every corner and no springs you'll probably attract more attention than you'd want.

To put things in perspective I've 3 skylines, all of them kinda noisey and fast looking and I've had no troubles. I used to cruise around a lot on thursday nights too. I usually don't do skids around every corner though, and I don't have "P"ull me over plates either.

Not to open up a can or worms or anything, but when my parents where considering on moving to Sydney they where told that anywhere is fine... as long as it is within the the Manly Daily's distribution area. This was around 1993 mind you

Having been to Penrith an epic 6 or 7 times in my life I can truthfully say that the only bad thing I found about the place is that it is a significant drive for me to get there and back.

i get all my work done by sasha at canak autosports at production place, as for other workshops, hitman is in borec rd, also craved coatings all your powder coating needs there too.

+1 for Canak Autosports. Sasha knows his imports inside out. Does great work too.

Having lived in both cities, I can assure you that in no way is NSW as strict as VIC....

True...

nor is policing in this state as covert/clandestine as down south.

Around Penrith, there are some unmarked as well as marked police cars that patrol the straight stretches along Castlereagh Rd & Springwood Rd.

Police also hide sometimes behind bushes in 2 spots along Bells Line Of Road.

I hear from 1-2 workshops that they've had to engineer cars after being defected at night-time after meetups at Panthers' Maccas/KKs/KFC. This all happens as I'm reading a book or Zzzzzzz - and my car is Zzzzzzzzz lol

Wow, I just love Hills people. All snobbery, no class.

Penrith's fine. And there are Japanese imports aplenty. Have been for about five years now. Probably since the last time the Hillsong mob slummed it down there on missionary work. Hallellulah!

You have a great day now.

AMEN BROTHER! lol

although I *think* the hillsong zombies do have a holdout in minchinbury? *shudders*

used to run the vodafone shop in Rouse Hill Town Centre, ugh gimme the riff anyday

As others have said, Canak Autosports near the dick smith powerhouse

Race Solutions/Hitman just behind Nepean Motor Group

Wholesale suspension near the Heartland Holden (got the impression that they're 'love them their V8's types' but they're a good bunch in my experience  )

i work at penrith, nothing much to concern about, the plaza is full of gangas though

There is no emoticon to express the trueness of this statement :)

    • @Murray_Calavera iam just considering options 🙂 of course it is very expensive so that why i ask here 🙂  @joshuaho96 I looked at that GCG hybrid(i remember looking at it few weeks before) So this is "that" hybrid where i send them my turbo and they upgrade the inside to Garrett stuff and then they send it back. It cost around 1200-1300 USD which is FAR cheaper than the HKS and it is what iam looking for(i just do not have experience like this...to send something off to "upgrade" ) @tylink720 that is like 150 USD turbo no? 😄 I dont think i have the "ease on my mind" with this kind of turbo. I just put over 7000k USD to "LINK" up my engine...dont want to blow it up with cheap turbo 😄     EDIT: https://www.cj-motor.com/gcg-turbo-charger-for-nissan-rb20det-rb25det-high?srsltid=AfmBOooVeOZ6CZ6r1AIv5m-KPaa6BvudIPJTY8LW78khkd-gQlsaCht9 I looked at this and it seems ok? It is that CGC hybrid and it costs around 1250 USD (with back shipping). Do any of you have experience with this hybrid on NEO turbo? I quickly look thru the forum/web and it seems very good.

    • It's funny, as Ive seen plenty of people use them in cheap builds on YT. And they actually go okay, even though a lot of other maxspeedingrods stuff is terrible. Those turbos seem reliable enough, the only part being, a good quality turbo that is "identical" to it, will out perform it day in and day out. In both a lower boost threshold, and the ability to flow more air at the same boost pressure. As a cheap cheap replacement, not a terrible choice. For cheap and shouldn't blow in a day, not terrible (like other eBay/Temu turbos) for low cost and still decent performance, that's where the question comes in to play from the results I've seen. I'd actually find it hilarious to buy one, and strap it to a paddock basher or some other cheap as POS originally NA car, and send it to the moon!
