merli, it wouldn't be like your 600kw@wheels dyno sheet would it?? :(

im sure we'd all love to see it make those figures again and again and run the times it should with 2530's and that much power, but that would be the question as to why HKS would rate that turbo kit for 600ps (447kw) @ the engine instead of the 850ish that it'd apparently be good for. Either those are 2835's and not 2530's, or thats just broken a few BS metre's

Exactly :)

The reason I did that was to scan it in to post in threads like this, but I'm scared that people will photochop their details onto the dynosheet and claim it as their own dynosheets on other forums :(

and it was 600.1kw ;)

i dont think its got anything to do with wastegates or the turbos, casue even if you pull the wastegate hose off you can run maybe 25psi max on those low mount turbos, and 25psi wont make that power, it must be a misprint or just maybe it has huge mods thats we cant see.

Guys the dyno is correct,  it has not been edited on photoshop or anything like that.  He is running GT2530 turbos and there is no nos kit on it.

I think for that run of 526 kws they used a massive amount of boost 25+psi  just to break the 500kw barrier.  It is normally setup for 450kws or something like that.

And stacy is the guys girlfriend who the car is registered through.

If u believe that story u must believe anything!!

Are you sure it's not "estimated flywheel power" and not at the wheels? HKSgt2530s will not get 400kW aa all four, let alone >500kW. Some's playing funny-buggers, whether it be dyno operator, photochop artist, or the pic that's been posted is incorrect.

Something just doesn't gel, simple as that.

I have a 13inch penis... Im serious, I have the dyno sheet to prove it. :)

I have to say im very wary of that figure, as i dont believe low mount turbos can bring up real a 500kw +. Unless they tune like rigoli, for one dyno run at 40000 psi boost :(

I hope im proven wrong though.

Hey Smoothy,

You may have a 13" penis which was proven on a dyno, God only knows how but 500+rwkw is achievable. Just look Jason's R34 (rh9.com.au) project which never got finished in the end. His car made 500+awkw with a shot of NOS with 2540s which are low mounted...

have a lokk at another funny dyno someone sent me

funny and bored people

I'll never look at a posted dyno sheet or timeslip with any faith again...

I'll also be more careful when signing documents I receive in the mail now that I have seen what nick can do with just a posted dodgy dyno sheet and a computer... Ignorance WAS bliss... Cheers nicknick!

Please People If You Go Back To The Origianly Posted Dyno Sheet, Have A Look At The Numbers On The Left Side, If You Notice That From The Bottom On The End Of Each Number It Starts From 1 And Goes All The Way Up To 9..

Eg 61, 122,183, 244, 305, 366. If You Get What Im Saying Thats The First Time Ever Ive Seen A Dyno Sheet The Has Every Number From 1 To 9 Starting From The Bottom

That's just a coincidence IMHO...

The power scale depends on the scale that the graph is set to. In that case, the dyno operator set it to 610kw, which means that there are 10 increments of 61 each, hence what you see there.

I don't believe that the dyno scan has been tampered with after being digitized, but rather before, whilst it was on the dyno.

edit: either that or the wastegates stuck shut during the run

Enough about the penis... im proud to say i dont have 13 inches... :D

I agree rh9 does it David, but that is with nos... the graph mentioned was using no nos?

Like I said, id love to know it was true... Because I know id be happy in a low mounted 500kw+ gtr :)

Anyone remember teh official HKS R32 Drag Car ('95)

It ran HKS 2540R x 2, with 290intake/280exhaust with HKS 88mm pistons & rods to punch out 800ps. On slicks i think it actually ran high 8s, mind you the thing was gutted race car, but the engine still used low mount turbos. :(

    • Yeah I've had too many issues with knock off's on the BMW's. I don't want to do a job twice or more because the parts are shit.
    • I read this and thought "ah! I will do this scissor jack on the tow point thing!" I just use my floor/low profile/costco jack and lift the car up by the tow hook itself, then slide jack stands under. Never thought about using scissor into floor jack combo :p
    • Well, my new WMI system took much longer to finalize. I actually missed my dyno appointment last Friday and lost my 150$ deposit. I'll be going back in the next week or two.  To sum it up. I only kept the AEM tank from my old setup. I replaced the AEM pump with a higher flow/pressure ProMeth 30GPH pump. I also swapped over to a 6AN low pressure feed line to the pump from the tank. There's also a pressure switch you cannot see on the pump high pressure line.    This is feeding 6x 200CC direct port nozzles and 1x 500CC Pre Throttle body nozzle. All fittings are Swagelok, because well why not. I also have a 300PSI pressure sensor up front.    I now have my Haltech ECU controlling everything. I start my pump with a basic relay at 5PSI and deadhead it. I then PWM a 3000CC methanol Injector to control flow starting around 10psi. The pressure switch in the trunk, along with my tank level are safeties before I ever get to 10PSI, and then I use my pressure sensor upfront as a secondary safety to cut the WMI and corrections in case the injector blocks or a line ruptures.  Wish me luck on the dyno!
    • So, I'm back with bad news. There's no jack long enough on this planet that will reach the front subframe. If by some chance there is, it would weigh 200lb's.  I purchased a long reach jack... The damn thing weighted 120lb's and was massive. Didn't even come close, was still short at least a foot. It was a pain, but I brought it back. Next I decided HA! No problem, I'll get an Extra long reach jack. Well, I couldn't lift the box... It must have weighed 160LB's and luckily there was an open box in store. I took measurement and was still nowhere close.  Sadly I've lost hope and have accepted defeat.
    • Thanks for that tip, niZmO_Man. I think the battery is OK. It's quite a new one, but I'll check. Last time I needed a new battery, everything electronic was fine, except that there wasn't enough current to turn over the starter. I decided to order one of the partial AV system translation CDs from Car Audio Workshop in NZ. That might have some effect, or help me diagnose the date problem. 🤞
