JEPPE
In my R34 GTT I always get 500 to a tank, most of that is flooring it. Braaaaap! Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/328455-fuel-aconomy-on-rb25det/page/2/#findComment-5343692 Share on other sites

R31Nismoid
Yous all suck if you're getting under 400kms to a tank in a non-GTR.I just did 463km, with 315kms of that of spirited run to Bathurst and back. Why should a GTR be more fuel hungry? My motors: RB25, 270rwkw - 450-500km around town, 550-600 freeway RB26, 280rwkw - 450-500km around town, 550-600 freeway Identical Pretty sure i have a 55L tank as well (never run it much below 1/4) All of mine are with a nastier diff ratio as well, so I am doing high RPM @ 100km/h to you all That said, if i get onto the loud pedal i can mince a tank in less than 300km's Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/328455-fuel-aconomy-on-rb25det/page/2/#findComment-5344300 Share on other sites
R-SPEC
i get ~350Ks per half a tank on my car (34 gtt) 50% of which is freeway cruising, the rest is mostly "spirited" driving if i wanted to i could easily get 600Ks per tank Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/328455-fuel-aconomy-on-rb25det/page/2/#findComment-5344388 Share on other sites

matticus
I usually get to 450-500 before i go to fill up. Last week got to 510 without the fuel light coming on. made me worry it wasnt working and i usually average 11L/100km (or thereabouts) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/328455-fuel-aconomy-on-rb25det/page/2/#findComment-5346890 Share on other sites

llama_au
Filled up before. Took 53L, I'd done 403km's. So 13.25L/100km's. Roughly half freeway, half stop-start traffic. And that's just me nanna driving it. My best was 10L/100km pure freeway driving. llama_au
I fill up regardless of the price, but I always reset my tripmeter A as soon as I fill up so I know how many km's I get to each tank. I reset my tripmeter B every service so I know when it's next due Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/328455-fuel-aconomy-on-rb25det/page/2/#findComment-5350422 Share on other sites
Cowboy1600
I'm lucky if I get 350ks beween fills. And then it takes around 50Ls to fill it. I'm wondering if a new o2 sensor will improve things, along with a Nistune and dyno time. Wish I was like that, but I'm obsessed with the trip meter haha. It can be a good way to tell if your car isn't running properly / as good as it could be. I do fill up whenever I need it though...stuff holding out for queues and cheap prices to save a couple of dollars. If you bought a Skyline for good fuel economy you did it wrong from the start I say! I'm lucky if I get 350ks beween fills. And then it takes around 50Ls to fill it.I'm wondering if a new o2 sensor will improve things, along with a Nistune and dyno time. Yer! Give the O2 sensor a go mate, it should be standard with every purchase of a Skyline haha! Instant 50-60km extra to a tank if it ain't been changed before. BP Ultimate: 141.9c, 423.6km, 49.34 L = 11.65L/100km = $16.53/100kmBP Premium: 134.9c, 265.2km, 34.87 L = 13.15L/100km = $17.74/100km BP Premiun: 134.9, 446.3km, 53.74L = 12.04L/100km = $16.24/100km BP Ultimate: 140.7c, 476km, 51.12L = 10.74L/100km = $15.11/100km Caltex Vortex: 143.9-4c = 139.9, 300km, 35.54L = 11.85L/100km = $16.57/100km Sucks that BP Ultimate is currently the best, I want to boycott them bad. Going to move onto Mobil and Shell soon, hopefully they are awesome.
