Cam it's the same as the V35....called a Powerduct.....order it straight through Nissan....$174 though.

Hi mate,

Sorry, do you know the part number? Von Bibra Nissan on the Gold Coast are pretty pathetic.

can someone give me the part number for the nismo or mines ecu... or the formal wording

my unc is guna ask his peeps in japan to get a few!

There isn't a part number as such, they are both a re-flash service for your stock ECU.

Unfortunately it would seem that Nismo do not remap ECUs unless they have the car there.

Mine's, Impul, G-Zone, KS will all remap your stock ECU without your car.

Let me know if he has any luck as I have a spare stock ECU sitting in a warehouse in Japan if needed.

So Jetwreck has indeed joined a very exclusive club with his Nismo :) .

Oh well, maybe one day a remap will be available for the rest of us poor souls...

Once the remap is available the Nismo/Impul wont be worth a pinch of shit though. :P

Bahhahah.... We shall see how good the ecu's are if they ever get to the drags I guess, and you Sydneysiders complain about Melbourne's weather. :D

Emanage FTW!!!

Yeah, but eManage + Nismo or G-Zone ecu = :D

Now all you need is an ECU remapped with the restriction removed (yes, I am still working on that!)

The throttle restriction is there to protect the driveline = more power than it could otherwise handle... Not sure I want rid of it when I drop the 3.5 in...

Man, you chop and change your mind so often I can't keep up!

The PM35, V35, Z33... none if these have the throttle restriction - yes I know none were FI, but planty have been with only valve body upgrades to their RE5R05A transmissions

The throttle and cams work together to make the take-off lethargic, this is because of the tiny stock turbo coming on too hard and quick I think.

Hopefully the 3.5 cams will get rid of most of the issue... If not the cable throttle and Haltech 2000 will definitely fix it.

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.
    • My Nismo 1.5 churps a bit on reverse turns when cold, but besides that feels like a stock diff.
    • Yes, but, I paid cash and I'm pretty sure the receipt was in the bin 10 minutes after I got home Note to self, keep all receipts
    • Bunnings would have just handed you your money back on that one!
    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
