Where does one purchase his dubs?

sorry for wasted post but that phrase combined with your avatar made me crack up for some reason.

but i guess i could try and redeem this post by saying that if your looking, import monster sells discounted sets. Im not sure if they're secondhand as i havnt looked to deeply into it but..... http://www.importmonster.com.au/shop/

Import Monster FTW!

Helps you can go down there in person and see the wheels next to/on the car, or at least get a good idea of what a similar wheel will look like, offsets etc.

Added bonus of having a well priced place in Vic/Aus as opposed to guessing something over the net/yahoo and not being happy.

I'm down there a fair bit, as are other SAU-Vic members I see when I go for my little visits :ermm:

Hmmm. Might have to go down and take a squizz.

They just had 2 containers come in over the last week and a bit too... so farken HEAPS of rims to checkout :ermm:

They are SAU Traders as well, so checkout their section as i know Aaron chucked some of what he had into his section late last week.

import monster, tyre power hawthorn or OTR depending on your location out of the 3 (import monster would be the best bet as they are 2nd hand rims so a bit cheaper, quality is still up there though most look new)

last time i had to get some parts at OTR the focal point of the rims was a brand new set of 18x11 +18 te37 SL model looked awesome but $$$$$$

edit: yeah J-imports too, thanks Chad :ermm:

yeh j-imports, import monster is great i was there friday he has heaps of stuff in stock, or you can suss out local classifieds private sales good wheels there too.. jesse streeter is an option which means getting em from japan can be cheaper but takes longer.

failing on that bob jane.

Import Monster.

There is no substitute.

Import Monster & Aaron will go to the ends of the earth to find you any rim you want. Their service and price is second to none. I have used them many times and will be using them in the next few days :action-smiley-069:

Tyre Power hawthorn look after SAUvic Members

Yeah, I have seen a few "Tyre Power Hawthorn" Stickers on a few rear quarter windows.

OTR Motorsport is good and I heard Jesse Streeter decent as well.

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
