mitch noted down some lap times, but the full results are not up that I can see:

chris: 1.37.585

noddy: 1.29.005

me: 1.26.644

stu: 1.22.898

Yes speedy results hey - I think mylaps look after the rules and the tintop trophies.

But must say was a great track - can't wait to have another crack at Irace next year.

Dropped 33 off to Advan on the way home, going link system and some more injectors.

Fuel pump brushes seem to be going fine, they have gotta outlast the OEM ones (4 months)

Bitta bad news with in car only got some practice laps.

Cheers

haha - that's pretty cool Chris!

I'm pretty happy considering I had no gear for the two low-80kph corners, Turn 2 and the T-Junction (AKA Stupid). 2nd was a bit too short, 3rd was a bit to tall. Did 1:28.1's either way. Stupid standard diff! That's the best excuse I can come up with anyway

mylaps is officially ghey. just spent 10 minutes putting this together so we can see what car belongs to the name

  • 4 weeks later...

pics finally made it (by far the most expensive I have ever bought from a track day). OK pics although they don't really show the background much, could have been anywhere.

I've narrowed down when I scraped the wall....sometime between 10am....

and 2pm....

in any case, I was taking it easy on saturday,

before finally having a go on sunday

No trophy, but it was a good fun event :D

Interesting pics tiger,,,looks like the right rear tyre is trying it's hardest to escape the rim. Nice work smashing those poor defencless ripple strips by the way,,,I'm proud of you.

Cheers

yeah, the tight bugger is charging $20 for proof sheets! That $20 is taken off the cost of any subsequent order. Eg a CD with all pics of your car from the event plus one 8x12" print as I've ordered is $85. He had 38 shots of my car from 4 different locations on the track - under the bridge, Siberia, Tee Junction (now aka Stupid) and the esses. The way he justified it was that many people just want to see how thier car looks on the track and don't order anything. So this way he at least gets a nominal fee for his work.

    • You still want a proper tune on the stock ECU though. Stock tune + stock ECU with GT-SS/-9s is probably playing with fire if you're running more than stock airflow/power.
    • I like their veal scallopini.
    • Definitely a hearty eater when we go out, I consider these meals my cheat day as I've been watching my calories in and calories out pretty hard since my little fun size stroke, I've gone from a fat boy of 89 Kg, I'm only 165cm tall/short, down to a almost semi lean 73 Kg over the last few years, I'm currently around 17% body fat which my doctor is very happy with, but, my goal is to slowly get down to and maintain 15%,so yeah, I want all of the protein, carbs, fats and sugars when I go out for a binge
    • There was a great one on Victoria Rd in Gladesville too back in the day. I can only assume GTSBoy is thinking of the mill up on the wollondilly, no restaurant there any more but they have restored the original steam engine on site and run it every few months, have an annual steampunk festival etc @The Bogan, you came to the wrong town for restaurants. we have a few reasonable asian and indian options but the Paragon is as good as it gets otherwise. That brewery is apparently just opened, been meaning to give it a go some time. The Highlands have plenty of fancy options but I suspect you are more a hearty eater than fancy eater
