If only I could get in contact with UniGroup when need be they'd have some business from me too. Are their any days/hours where UniGroup are definitetly open or definitely by the phone?

Of the 5 different dyno's (days) i've been too they have by far the best service/knowledge.

When I'm not doing it, my car is tuned exclusively by Unigroup Engineering.

www.unigroup.com.au

Yavuz and Valent are very communicative guys and have tuned some very very fast and big dollar cars that are still running hard.

I cannot speak highly enough of their efforts in correcting my tune on the pfc.  Less ignition advance, more fuel, same power.  They are also happy to tell you exactly what they're doing as they do it which helps you stay in the loop.

I must have picked their brains 20 times since first going there, (phone, email etc) and have found them more than happy to chat.

Yavuz also operates one of the dynos for Dyno Dynamics at Summernats.  Expert with the Power FC and how it should be tuned for our cars and your application.

agreed

getting my pfc tuned next week there

sounds like Ben is a good name for a tuner lol...

drop Ben from BEL Garage a message, www.belgarage.com.au

road tune for part throttle mapping + response, dyno to clean up top end, won't let anyone else tune my car :P

ive been there once to buy an air filter off them. they seem like nice guys.

also, Haak are good too. they're on the horsley drive right near eastern creek. Dave there is really good...

Spoken to alot of the customers that were waiting at CRD whilst waiting for my tune to finish and many of them were ex-customers of the above mentioned tuners....Ummm I wonder why that is?? AnywayI ask them why they didn't come to CRD and see Jim in the first place and the standard response is:

"Yeah I should've, but the other guys were cheaper.."

Very wise aren't you?? Now you guys have to pay again...

A small tip: Do it the right the first time...You get what you pay for.

    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything

    • What does it look like with highway driving? And yes, I had a similar thought as Duncan. It looks quite similar in my Stagea and I have made myself accept it as normal. Might have to look into it some day   Highway gets as low as 10l/100km on my end so I'm not as worried about it being a mechanical issue. More likely just the tune on the haltech.
