Scam for sure.

$6,700 and no phone number and it's still on carsales...

On another note, I wonder why scammers always ask around $7,000?

are you sure your looking at the right one? i cant seem to find it. and the one that i did see did have a phone number.

if i get the vin number off her can i check it with the rta or the police or something? ill only buy it if go see it aswell. maybe take a metal pole would be a good idea? hah

ive got an R34 GTR Vspec for sale if you are interested

$11,050 with 24,000 genunine kms on the clock and std vspec with exhaust

no phone number, you can't come and check it out, but deposit the money into my bank acct and you can pick it up a 3 days........

lol but thats the thing i dont get how can i be scammed if i can go see the car and if she does have a phone number? ill pay cash only

re-birthed, writen off and repaired, repossed car, locked in finance, engine mangled with unknown reliablity, other unknown car faults etc

there are many ways you can be suckered in so its your choice. once you pay the cash, guess where the contact goes to? disconnected number.....

please don't do it

its a load of crap

no right person in their right mind would sell a reasonable ER34 for that price

at worst you would put it at 11,000 and wait for people to call, $6700 is scam alarms

specially sammers like to make up believable stories and rely on the human factor of caring and trick you into thinking it's genunie

its the first way hackers break into networks etc, they use stupid human tactics to fool you and trick you

alright no worries dude i didnt think of rebirths thanks

there's so many wars to lure people in so just be careful. no one wants to fork over their hard earned cash for a nice appealing car to be ripped off

if you want to check out some honest owners and cars for sale etc come to the monthly sau vic meetings and meet some local members

at least you can talk to them and see their cars or ask if they know any friends one's for sale. also a good way to check prices and get advise before buying

we meet monthly

well im actually from NSW i was willing to travel to vic to pick it up, is there a nsw one?

Dude, you can pickup stockish r34 gtt's with a few mods for as low as $14k now from legit sellers. The prices are plummeting hard. R34's are getting old now (10+ years) and people are desperately offloading them. There is no record of those plates currently being registered with vicroads either so it is very likely a dodgy sale.

ah i see, no worries then, thanks heaps for that!

how can i check vicroads? and nsw roads?

http://www.vehiclestatuscheck.vicroads.vic...au/Default.aspx - only for Victorian Registered Vehicles though.

As for NSW, check RTA site but only show up if it's registered or not from memory.

Maybe what she is saying is true tho you never know, you could be getting a bargain, if your willing to risk the time and money to come and have a look at it then i would reccomend having someone do a thorough check on it, that would show if its a lemon or a rebirth and also do the usual vic roads checks which will tell you if its stolen, under insurance or has a current defect notice on it, if all checks out then you may get a bargain, if not you have wasted probably around $500 and walk away empty handed.

maybe it hasnt been re-regiesterd..or would it still come up?

i agree with everyone else...sounds like a scam..but do all your homework and if it turns out legit you got yourself a bargin

mm very true to the last two guys, how do you prove a rebirth, defects, and anything bad?? my brother said do a revs check? idk what hes on about. surely i could call rta and cops and stuff?

    • I would just put EBC back on the "I would not use their stuff" pile and move on.
    • Can I suggest you try EBC directly again and link them to as many competitor catalogues as you can to show their listing is incorrect, eg https://dba.com.au/product/front-4000-series-hd-brake-rotor-dba42304/ If you have access to an R33 GTST VIN and your VIN, you could also use a Nissan Parts lookup like Amayama to show them the part number is different between 33 GTST and 34 GTT which may get their attention
    • So i got reply from EBC and they just this site where you can clearly see those 296mm fronts on R34 GTT. I send them photos and "quotes" that 296mm are not for 34 GTT and they are too small. But it will be very hard to return them cuz nobody here knows 100% and they just copy those EBC catalogue :-D https://ebcbrakesdirect.com/automotive/nissan/skyline-r34
    • Hi, is the HKS  Tower Bar still available ? negotiable ? 🤔
    • From there, it is really just test and assemble. Plug the adapter cables from the unit into the back of the screen, then the other side to the car harness. Don't forget all the other plugs too! Run the cables behind the unit and screw it back into place (4 screws) and you should now have 3 cables to run from the top screen to the android unit. I ran them along the DS of the other AV units in the gap between their backets and the console, and used some corrugated tubing on the sharp edges of the bracket so the wires were safe. Plug the centre console and lower screen in temporarily and turn the car to ACC, the AV should fire up as normal. Hold the back button for 3 sec and Android should appear on the top screen. You need to set the input to Aux for audio (more on that later). I put the unit under the AC duct in the centre console, with the wifi antenna on top of the AC duct near the shifter, the bluetooth antenna on the AC duct under the centre console The GPS unit on top of the DS to AC duct; they all seem to work OK there are are out of the way. Neat cable routing is a pain. For the drive recorder I mounted it near the rear view mirror and run the cable in the headlining, across the a pillar and then down the inside of the a pillar seal to the DS lower dash. From there it goes across and to one USB input for the unit. The second USB input is attached to the ECUtec OBD dongle and the 3rd goes to the USB bulkhead connected I added in the centre console. This is how the centre console looks "tidied" up Note I didn't install the provided speaker, didn't use the 2.5mm IPod in line or the piggyback loom for the Ipod or change any DIP switches; they seem to only be required if you need to use the Ipod input rather than the AUX input. That's it, install done, I'll follow up with a separate post on how the unit works, but in summary it retains all factory functions and inputs (so I still use my phone to the car for calls), reverse still works like factory etc.
