Hi guys,

After 5 years of ownership it's time to sell my beloved R33 GTR. I still enjoy driving the car immensely but it's time to move on... The vehicle is close to stock with the factory ECU, and performs healthily with the handling still very tight. Purchased in 2005 with about 45,000km showing and nothing to indicate mileage would be any higher. Now presents extremely well for its age - enthusiasts looking for a near-stock, well looked after example should appreciate as there are many others out there with supposedly half the mileage which are quite rough around the edges - 100K should be no deterrent for a car that has been lovingly cared for! :ph34r:

* 1996 model BCNR33 GT-R (non V-spec)

* 105,000km (has had 100,000km service incl. water pump, timing belt, bearings, etc)

* Service history

* Rego till May 2011

* S3 Xenon headlights + clear indicators front and side

* TEIN SS coilovers with height and damping adjustment

* TEIN EDFC (in-vehicle on-the-fly adjustment of front/rear damping force, with memory)

* Fujitsubo Legalis R cat-back exhaust

* Midori high-flow cat

* Original R33 GT-R 17"x9.5 alloys

* Almost brand-new Bridgestone Adrenalin RE-001 rubber.

* Immobiliser

Only ever used full synthetic oil (MOTUL or Elf) changed at 5,000km intervals. Car is completely straight with absolutely no rust or panel/chassis/underbody damage whatsoever. Paint has been treated to regular clay bar / polish and wax, and interior is immaculate (non-smoker car) with very little wear on steering wheel, carpets or driver's seat. Still smells like new. Mostly highway kms early on in my ownership, now she only gets the odd weekend drive; literally always garaged and hooked up to trickle charger.

Asking for $25,000 o.n.o. Happy to answer any questions about the car. Putting it up for SAU guys first, before it goes to CarSales.

Cheers,

Matt

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. I don't think those words could explain how sweet that looks. Good luck with the sale. I'm really hoping to find 1 in the condition this is in, when I sell my 32 next year.

Last year, this car won an SnS "Best R33 GT-R" award signed by Skaifey didn't it? :D

Thanks Terry :)

Hi Zonk, yes I'm in the Sydney area unfortunately mate.

Thanks Brad! The photos aren't bad but the car really deserves an inspection to be appreciated!

A few more pics that were taken most recently by Flippit Photography (car has RE30s on currently but will be sold with original R33 GTR rims as described above)

Just when I thought I've made up my mind to keep my GTST this pops up!

I'm torn again, this would be perfect for what I would want.. I'm going to have a good think and may contact you about this.

I have seen this car in the flesh it is an immaculate example of a GTR

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
