far out people, we have no idea what happened - the end result is that a shite load of man hours at Maranello have pretty much gone down the toilet.

i reckon it could be fixed though, think how strong they make the chasis of these cars (ones that are capable of silly speeds and g's), if nothing is bent, surely they could replace panels, headlights, and some front suspension components.

You guys didn't read/watch the whole story - imagine this scenario in Australia, you want to turn right but traffic is banked back too far before the turn out lane, so you pull out over the double lines so you can turn right at the next traffic light sequence. Make sense? That's what this dude did (except in reverse because it's the US), which is why the accident didn't happen at very high speed.

Having said that, his number plate makes him a douche anyway.
