The add I purchased this bonnet from had a link to the site it was purchased from. That link had the R32 GTR CF Bonnet not the GTS-T, however the original add just had R32 Nismo CF bonnet for sale.

why exactly doesn't it fit your GTR?

The bonnet catch bar is about 1inch short on length to line up to the latch.

When you move the bonnet forward to the latch, the holes at the rear bonnet dont line up with bonnet hinges on the GTR by about an inch.

When I put a (T1) CF GTR bonnet on my old black 32 gts-t I had to replace the latch and get the GTR grill.

Good point, I'm not certain J'son.

I am certian it will spark many points of view on safety/legalities.

I have taken my GTR over the pits at Dickson twice in the last 6 years and been passed both times without mention. The first time I got the "too loud too low" fail, but with extra tyre pressure and the exhaust swapped over a pass mark. It also passed in Qld with the CF (FPR) bonnet.

I got told when I rang up that it wasn't legal as they don't meet the ADR standards although if I could get an engineer to sign off on it then it "might" be ok.

My insurance company also wouldn't guarantee that I would be covered in an accident if someone got injured because of it.

I decided it wasn't worth the hassle.

Ta Kat. Always heard that they are not legal... and this as cool as they look, i aint worth it.

You can get fake carbon look ones, or at leas a film to coat them with though... If want the look, and not the performance enhancement....

Hey Richard - I am over that way later next week. If it fits my car its mine.

    • Cats are called Bella, and Donna...  Like that poisonous plant And I remember your 2 monsters, I remember making a little bit of wee when you let them out... LOL I have already installed cat doors into the laundry where their kitty litter is, and the sun room, apart from the cat doors there's not going to be any permanent mounted stuff on the interior walls (interior doors are cheap and easy to replace) I will get a outdoor cat cage thingie once I finish the landscaping out back... https://catnip.com.au/ The only off limit areas are the main bedroom and the gym room....but, currently the cats are curled up in bed, in the main bedroom with the Mrs.....LOL, the off limits for the kittens to the main bedroom lasted about 5 minutes with Jackie I currently only have 1 free standing huge cat tree multiple level scratching post thingie in the lounge room, but, I will be getting another one soon now that I'm happy with the furniture layout in the back room and have a perfect spot for it
    • All of this is making it seem clear that running the Coppermix twin was definitely the way to go, especially in hindsight with how insane tariffs have gotten and the strength of the USD vs yen at the time.
    • That sounds like no chance of even importing one for road registering then Now I see why Duncan wants to check LHD rules for Targa...   I wonder how "bolt in" the AWD would be if you got one imported from the US and swapped it to an AUD one
    • Not to mention they drive like a bucket of bolts! yuck!
