26psi and 460rwkw on e85 twin nismo intanks no pump noise at all.. Very little change in spool from 98 octane + 30% tolulene to e85. sad.gif

any info on the install for the twin Nismos, i put twin nismos in my car last week.

are yours wired to the battery? or are they just wired into the factory wiring?

how did u mount them in the tank?

cheers

Iv installed them into a 33GTR so much easier than 32.

I used feed and return outlets on the plastic tank cap as twin feeds and added a speedflow bulk head fitting to the cap for the return line. Inside tank wiring i used the factory internal wiring for 1 pump but for the 2nd pump i added 2 posts to the cap with some 6mm stainless rod and nutted both sides. Feeding the pumps i used 2 relays feed directly from the battery. ;)

what did u mount the pumps to inside the tank? i did basicly the same thing with the big hose clamp, i clamped my pumps ethier side of the cradle. so my pick ups arnt inside the baffle thing in the bottom of the tank, but the picks are ether side of it, at the lowest point.

im in the middle of relocating my battery, once its in the boot ill run a similair setup to you with wiring..... ive just got a Y section atm in the tank joining the 2 pumps into 1 factory line, as im only running a factory rail atm.... but ive got a sard rail here and im considering running twin lines and puting one on each side of the rail... but see how i go.

Cant move much down there its simliar to a surge tank i guess. Yep twin entry rail setup using the standard steel lines as my feeds and i ran one -6 braided the length of the car. So much nicer setup than the twin 044's surge tank crap i had in there at first.

usng the existing steel lines as your feed to the twin entry rail is what i did - nice & clean setup.

just run a return line under the car & its done.

dean - how much power are u supporting? if you look at the likes of GTRNUR & others on this site, there are guys cracking over 400awkw with the factory single entry rail. however, i also ran a twin entry rail on 405awkw for bling :)

ATM I'm only making 330rwkw, but Im making a 4inch exhuast and installing some id2ks going for around 400, it doesn't matter ATM anyway as a built motor will be going into this car shortly so I more as well set the fuel system up.

How did you mount your twin pumps in the tank???

i actually ran an in-boot surge tank with an 044 lift pump (because it is already in there, not required though) & 2 044s mounted on the surge tank.

my fuel used to get hot though & i always had fuel fumes in the cabin.

i wasnt happy with the fuel setup but it did its job

I was Gunna take a pic of my setup, just to c what people think, but I'm to scared to stick a camera in the fuel tank and take a photo or put my phone near it to take it. Way to much fumes around, and the flash will most likly blow up my shed...... So Fark that

Haha that is an awesome post :)

We should write to mythbusters to see if this is the case :)

Yea lol not to keen on trying it myself.

It's hard with the r32 tank, as there's no way you can fit both pumps into the cradle in the bottom of the tank. So I spose the way I've got it, is really the only way you can do it, unless you mount the pumps to lid and hang the pick ups down.....

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
    • Hi.. Just another problem. So maybe you can help. I(my mechanic) done swap from my RB20DE NEO to RB25DET NEO. Everything is OK but we have a boost cut. Coils/Plugs are ok...AFM is ok. ECU is ok. I have Walbro 255 but it "changed" sound few months ago(you can hear it ouside) you did not hear that when it was new(maybe faulty?) Sooo...what now? What can cause this boost cut? It is even when you standing still...
