From my experience you will need to run bigger injectors then 700's to make 400kw+. When I was making 374 RWKW I ran 700cc Sards with a duty cycle of up to about 96. At the advice of my tuner (a reputable one)I upgraded to Sard 800's to allow for more headroom. This allowed me to run a bit more boost and make 390 RWKW. Now the dc gets to about 85. This is with a -5 2.7 setup. I wonder why the difference between my experience and some others in this thread? Is it just a difference in dyno readings? I know of others with similar results to mine.

i know that extra capacity chews up DC due to the additional torque & your setup is a 2.7ltr as well

my old 3ltr had 1600's & dc was above 60% & that was making 405awkw

Wow now that is a very different results indeed mate.

I don't think an extra 50cc is going to make a 30% duty difference from a 2.65 to a 2.7

3ltr would of course but very interesting indeed.

As i said earlier best i can get under full load in 4th is 64%

Suck it an see Marko!!

ash, the displacement of a gtr engine is 2568cc hence a deficit of just under 150cc.

I'm leaving the 700's in there and see what happens when dyno tuned

Rebuild with larger pistons etc? :)

Really need to know where the power is made. If he makes 400kw at 9000 rpm his going need more injector than a car that makes 400kw at 7000 and falls away to 380 by 8000...

Is that pull done in 3rd gear? What is your rev limit set to? Afrs look good no unnessarry fuel used there.. I'm on sard 800's aswell made 450awkw rev limit 8600 power just starting to nose over at 8.4 on 98/toluene mix. My Afrs are a bit rich at 11.0 though. Engine efficiency would play role aswell..

Dyno pull done in 4th. Rev limit set at 8300. Very rarely need to rev over 6500 though to drive it quickly.

I dont have another picture of the graph just now but you can just see that the afr settles dead on 12.

I cannot find exactly what I was looking for in this thread, could have missed it?

What size injectors are needed for an RB30/26, Nitto 3.2Lt stroker to use 98 & E85 , building for response ?

Have to find out what is in it before I get worried about it, it had a lot of mods before I bought it and ready for some high HP if the previous owner wanted to turn up the wick.

I am sure the builder will not have their results suffer because of the wrong injectors after doing this type of build, would not look good :/

    • Ok thanks..that was my second question if i can somehow bypass this even with Nistune(that is all i have right now...aparat from stock ECU. So with some aftemarket it can by "bypassed" or make it work?  I know there is Link or Haltech (mainly used). We have ECUmaster here so i will gather some info about it.
    • Yes. You will need to get the original boost sensor and wire it in. That is.... if you plan to use a stock ECU - even a Nistuned ECU. The Nissan ECU will not operate correctly without it connected. And yes, it will do annoying stuff like you are experiencing. You will almost certainly be better off with some aftermarket ECU, than trying to hunt down rare sensors.
    • Ok so ABS/TCS is "not" the problem. Yeah i know now about the ABS with Nistune(i told that to the Nistune guy) but iam not 100% why or why i dont have ABS. ABS cube is in the engine (always has been) but i had braked couple of times rly hard and brakes just locked and scream. Does all Skylines have ABS cube? That boost sensor https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/367633-wtb-r34-gtt-turbo-pressure-sensor-pics-inside/ Is this it? I need to ask but i have a picture of engine bay and i do not see that (100% is not in that place) If i do not have this the car can do what mine is?(cutting around 4000 rpm) Here is the pic of my engine bay(only one i have) BUT i think i dont have that cuz loom was used from my RB20DE NEO and i know (obviously) that it does not have boost control or any wire to that...) so maybe that is the problem? (i dont know for 100% if that car where the engine is from had that)...but i dont have the loom from that
    • I'm with you here. It's either loom has an issue, OR, injectors are not functioning properly. It could even be they're just constantly dribbling, hence the wet, but not firing.
    • Depending on how long the car sat it is very possible for injectors to be stuck open or closed, I'd get them cleaned and flow tested. Other than that, obviously when the loom changes and the car doesn't start any more....the loom is suspect so some tracing / comparing may be required
