I've got a silicon elbow for the turbo outlet. Just hooking straight into the stock pipework. Then I just need a 40mm fitting for my bov return and a 20mm for the breather pipe.

One thing I haven't considered, does stao send gaskets with his turbos and will the turbo have exhaust studs?

Ok everyone. For future reference. Atr43 SS-1 is not an easy bolt on option. Needs new water lines and the oil drain needs to be customized, you cant put the rear exhaust nut on because the outlet flange is about 3-4 mm from the stud and the outlet of the compressor jams against the manifold, yer I can just turn the compressor housing to suit but then the wastegate actuator gets more pressure, the t3 flange and the Nissan 6 bolt flange or should I say flat plate with holes tapped in it is just welded onto the turbo, im guessing that it's a t25 exhaust housing with the flanges cut off.. Why the f**k did I think a cheap turbo was a good idea.

man r his turbos really that bad?? i was considering getting one at some stage..now I will THINK BEFORE. Thanks for the warning, maybe a Garret is the way to go after all...But quite a few people are commending the guy..so...pics please?? that will help a lot of people in here

Their turbos are pretty good in general. I'm running a one of their high flows and can't be happier.

Two mate's got their ATR43 turbos on theirs I've seen them, very welly machined inside, abit rough out side. They made a generic housing into a T3x Nissan housing so consider the concept in making them, thats understandable. Both made 300rwkws+, Its a Turbo so its more of the performance then the looks.

Their turbos actually do looks abit rough in appearance, its all comes down to performance.

Is that what you've got?

Yer thats the one, I wasn't really concerned with looks as you can't even see it once fitted, more so unhappy that it's a "direct oem replacement" and it's no where near fitting. He is sending me a spacer and gaskets so will see how it goes next week. Pics to come.

    • @GTSBoy This method was able to get readings of -10 to -2, so it looks like its monitoring.  Now I need to figure out why the vacuum on the line provided isn't alternating with manifold pressure.  I went with 2 lines that an RB25 tuner recommended but I'll get a longer hose and try directly off the back of the manifold.  He may have been used to OEM intake setups while I have a DBW setup that removed the MAF and IACV.
    • I work at a car detailing and tinting shop called Quark which gets all manner of German cars in usually (mainly due to a contract with Mercedes Benz Kita Osaka, BMW Nishinomiya and others) but every once in a while something special comes in, like a fully restored 1972 HS30 Nissan Fairlady 240ZG... The shop owner had immediately started applying film to the windows as soon as it was in the shop so the interior was completely covered in towels and plastic sheets. But I could get a few photos of the engine bay which was restored like new. Such an amazing car to see in pristine condition in Japan these days.
    • Was going to say the car pulls up nicely everywhere, especially going into that last long right hander before the main straight. Looks like a lot of fun.
    • Hey Dave, welcome aboard! Good to see another soon-to-be Stagea owner here. The wagons are awesome — plenty of space, still got that Skyline DNA, and loads of potential if you’re into mods. Definitely post up pics when you get it, everyone here loves seeing new builds. What model/year are you looking at?
