LOL...you guys have not only buried me but have written my Will as well.

EVO goes this Frid.........picked up a taxi with a big snail on it a couple of days ago.

Username "Jet-Turbo" (aka Jet-Snot) and I are starting a new trend on these forums...........it's called "Boats with HP"........bit like Heslo's 33 :teehee:.............well, the one he used to have :whistling:

hahaha yeh we will fly the flag into international waters

come stomp around on the s.a section in www. i got a big barge.com :rofl2:

lol it seems I have a Stagea owner customer (not sure who it was) who decided to have a run with a Commodore on the weekend in front of an unmarked cop car.

When he was pulled over, he tried to tell the officer that the boost controller and turbo timer were in it when it was complied and imported from Japan.

Whoever it was, next time you try it on, perhaps pick an officer that doesn't already know me before you start fibbing...the Iron Chef stickers on your car saved your arse this time, but they won't next time...

Anyone know where I can get some Iron Chef stickers? .. jk

considering selling my stagea for a lowball price of around 10k.

bought 6yrs ago for 18k, had over 30k in modifications over the years (parts/labour/tune/servicing)

piston #5 is shagged tho, requires new rings, before ringland went walkabouts was putting out 230awkw tuned to 1bar, had seen 250rwkw at 18psi on the dyno.

been dyno'd numerious times, and out to the track a handful of times (last time out lost compression to piston#5)

if you know anyone after a 300rwkw-potential project car let me know, or pm me for my details - would simply require new rings to be back on road with 250kw, or larger injectors and forged pistons for the 300kw mark. stagea is currently at a crash repairer having all panels looked at, was graffitied friday night. Potentially a complete respray, not sure tho atm. Will know more regarding the paintjob over the next few days I guess.

well car hopefully has been rid of its teething issues and Willall can get a tune happening in the next few days. Big thanks to them

 Yeah definitely a few gremlins. Hopefully all is well now. Pity the battery died before we saw the CAS was disconnected :(

    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
