Haha cheers :)

I used 3M double sided tape, the red stuff. It will definitely get the job done :)

Thanks mate!

Will get some, let you know how it comes along.

Hey guys, I thought I'd trial fit my Nismo sideskirts today, to see how the universal lip and rear pods line up and to be honest, I'm pretty happy with it, as it flows pretty well.

So here's some pics to give you guys an idea of how it will line up to sideskirts, I'm guessing the Nismo sideskirts have a similar height to say... Altia and Impul?

Lol yes.... Because my car is like 10cm or so off the ground, and adding the lip just made it even lower, I was coming out of a drive way and it scraped my front, it pulled a little bit of the lip off the front bar. But the lip is still in tact, not damaged, and after a while, dirt and stuff just stuck onto the tape, so it won't stick anymore.

But I can just re-apply the double sided tape and it will be ok.

And FYI, I didn't use the 3M tape, just used some industrial ones for testing lol.

Hey Mark :)

I'll be running a 2nd group buy as soon as I post the first lot to everyone, which I think has arrived today.

So if you wanna join that, that's np. But to your question, yes, that is the one :)

just wondering

if your goin to self tap/tec screw it and kinda make holes in the bar/lip, would it be better to sikaflex it on? at least that is removeable and doesnt leave holes?

also, with sikaflex, would it hold the lip?

or is there something stronger?

That might be a good idea, but I've heard that sikaflex sticks like a motherf.... Does it actually come off? And will you be able to get it off without ripping the lip? lol

I mean, if I didn't scrape my front bar, the lip would still be fine.. And when I pulled off the lip to respray my front bar, both sides were still fine.

Black sika did not stick to the rubber of the door seal on mine. I put it on, came back in the morning, it was laying on the ground with sika still stuck to the front bar...

    • Hey guys! Just rolled into this awesome community and let me tell you, I'm stoked!  Cars have been my jam for as long as I can remember, and there's nothing I love more than talking about them. It doesn't matter if it's the latest performance mods, DIY hacks that'll blow your mind, or just nerding out over engine specs –  I'm all in. I know I'm the new guy here, but I promise I'm not all talk. I want to be a part of this community, learn from the veterans, and maybe even make some friends along the way. So, whether you've been wrenching on rides for decades or just getting started like me, feel free to say hi, share some advice for a newbie, or just throw out a random car fact (because, let's face it, those are always fun!). Looking forward to getting to know you all and becoming part of this gearhead family! Thanks Pihu
