Hello All,

I am a new member who has joined up after speaking to Bec, who some of you might know, about running a special for the club/forum. I will be looking into advertising/sponsoring the forum also as I already do with USmuscle.com.au and WRX.com.au

I am a prestige car detailer located in Knoxfield specialising in custom, classic, and exotic cars. With services such basic details all the way to full paint corrections and repainting and filling all your stone chips!

Bec mentioned sponsoring some cars for the National Meet coming up and I would like to throw this invite out to anyone interested to apply.

You will get a full detail and correction engine, interior, and exterior! Just for some stickers on your car. Along with a CD and book of the progress and photos to display with your car and keep for your memories.

I would like some high standard cars but I am also after one preferably black that has scratched, swirled, marred paint to do 50/50's and before and after of.

Check out my previous work at www.immaculatereflections.com.au

Please email [email protected] if you are interested

Regards,

Mitch

No worries guys,

Look forward to hearing from you.

Also a BIG Thank you to Bec as if it wasnt for her i wouldnt not have been able to organise this, Thanks once again.

Send me an email guys regardless i want a beat up car to do a demo on for deisplay purposes, this might your chance to get a complete correction for FREE!

Regards,

Mitch

What exactly does a paint correction entail?

Paint correction is polishing, alot of people confuse polishing, buffing, waxing ect. A proper paint correction is done via machine or hand using a variety of different pads (they come in different types and for different jobs/abrssivenees) and polish combinations to remove marring, scratches, and swirls.

See here :)http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/369354-detailing-and-car-care-de-coded/ for more explanation or ask if I havent been clear Im more than happy to help

A great example of my work is on my website www.immaculatereflections.com.au go to gallery and check out the Caddilac i did to see what paint correction can do.

I also use a special method and application for paint chips which makes paint chips virtually un noticable.

PS Very soon i will be offering paintless dent removal so people can get their paint looking perfect and that pesky shopping cart dent can be removed at the same time!

Regards,

Mitch

I have scratches on my front bar that have dug into the plastic so I dunno if u could fix them. It's probably a panelbeaters job...and quite a few stonechips and hairline scratch/swirls through the paint...but it's white so...

How soon is soon? I have some hail damage dents (paint still intact) on my roof and bonnet, so could be worth getting it all done at the same time.

Although my car isn't "beat up", but a yellow car can certainly stand out in crowds *hint hint* :P

Send information and pictures to the email address listed please :)

mitch i have some sweet orange peel and a bogged and badly painted guard. shall i send you pics?

Most definatly

Your welcome for the explanation, Are you located near me? the bar can be a panel beater job but its extremely easy to sand it back slight bog and h-fill the scratches that have dug in and spray the bar. Give me a call 0432 839 463 and i can discuss further. I would be happy to help and show you also.

I have decals that have gotten old and need removing... ...I'd be up for this..,

Removing them to make room for mine yea:P? lol, send me some pictures and we can discuss

On a side note WOW plenty of people emailing already! As you guys will know i cant do everyone and have to make cuts as there are many people interested. I will keep everyone posted, if you make it or if you dont i will be in contact with you to let you know either way and possibly sort out a detail special for those who dont.

Also add me on FB under the name not company or page Immaculate Reflections thanks and regards,

This should be in the members area IMO, although obviously access is an issue.

Kinda need to be clear if this is a Financial Member offer, or general user offer. As we discussed already, doesn't look like you'll be onboard as a SAU Forum sponsor :)

Nodoubt half the emails you've got are people not club members. So there is no promise they will even get entry to the Nationals, given its CLUB Member priority.

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
