hrm, looks like a got into the tail end of group 1. What time are you going for Matt?

Brilliant setup, well done Royce. Though 4,5,1,2,3 would be a little better for sighting laps, as the driver trainers are going to come from G1-2.

Running order on day

Sighting Laps

5,4,1,2,3

Rest of day

1,2,3,4,5

DT

So yeah plenty time, group 4 is DT this time round, so you have to time to come in, and plenty time to get your car ready.

Jack as a rule you sit as a passenger and give them some tips on brake points and lines, usually just for the first session.

Weather is starting to turn towards the better. Have been predicting possible showers up until this afternoon - now revised to mostly sunny.

Plenty of time for this to change but fingers crossed.

If anyone gets grief from scutineering on the day i will have a couple of these with me!

Got through no worries at Sandown

Also have a couple of early (rough) prototypes that I can lend on the day or let go cheap cheap

see you there!

Well done GTR boys. Excellent times. Lucky I wasn't there to chase you down :P

Congrats to scotsman for a PB. Ant, was that a PB for you too?

Jelous that I couldn't come.

I think that's PB's for Chris & Ant indeed, Ant is hoofing with that new set-up and stocker 33R brakes too

Solid day @ the Island indeed for quite a few others too, i think more have busted PB's as well!

What an awesome day. Great weather, amazing track and car performed flawlessly. I think this is the first time I have come away from a track day without saying something needs to be changed. Just have to work in driving the thing better now!

yeah could not have asked for better weather and conditions..a few idiots out there trying to ruin it for the rest but lucky none from SAU.

SO yeah quite a few PB's up the tail end of the pack as well. but really if no PB today...no excuses!

Great day, perfect weather... I need more powahh! Congrats to all who set a new PB :)

p.s. John I don't know how you do the times you do with those tyres.... 595 RSR's are only 140 AA rated! Nice driving

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
