Damn I wish I made this :( Instead I spent 3hrs painting my brake calipers then 1 hour trying to get my f**king car to take the jumper leads. Next on my bill are 4 new rotors and pads all round and a new battery.

Awesome attendance, love the cars. Love the stitches on BO05TN

ohh p.s .. awesome shots there joel! top quality.

Sorry that I had to bug-off from Agnes Banks to a meeting.

Back on thread, it was great to meet up with a great bunch of fellahs at Penrith. I really appreciate picture angles of my car that have never been taken before and I do hope all the ladies had just about as great a time out there too.

Thanks again to the shooters, Pat, Joel & David!

Any feedback from the girls?

Anyone do the short twisty section 4 times, or 6 times instead of 2?

If you ever go there again, there's a nice bush walk at the base of the cliffs. + more of course down at the end of Govetts Leap Rd & Evans Head Rd (suitable for low lip cars).

first time out for me, it was a really good day infact !! great weather, great ppls, great car, Pirce LESS !!

great work guys keep it up !!!

Wen I followed your neat 34GTR Vspec 2 the whole way to Megalong...looked the goods!!!

Thanks for organising a great day guys. Really enjoyed the run from Blackheath down into the valley (except for the Evil Pothole Dragon attacking poor Shell-Bee) and the quick blast up Kurrajong. Not a bad way to spend half a tank of fuel - and $25 for lunch....

Guys this was an absoulutely TOP day out.

Nothing more impressive ( and im sure that green hwp car at richmond will agree ) than 20+ skylines single file through the mountaints.

Dunno about the marulan track day now but the canberra one will be fine.

Are you guys staying near marulan then heading out? Or doing the double wammy there and back again =)

(just wanna know where to meet you all )

Scott. you are in the R32 GTR behind me right ??? what u got there is a fine example of R32 !!

nice meeting you !!

Those successful Membership applications will give you inside running towards an end-of-year event at Trackside Restaurant too with a noted speaker!

+ a Technical Night in Oct to be announced real soon!

We're real glad you newcomers all came. It made our day that you did!

Had an awesome day, minus smashing my front bar coming down the twisty part into megalong, apparently did that a little too quickly :/

Coming back up was even more fun, that part thats all new road is unreal, nice and twisty but can still see far enough ahead to have some fun :)

one day im going to bring a clean car to a cruise :/ always makes me feel bad seeing everyone elses pristine cars haha, i always run out of time!

    • So, this shouldn't be such a mission, but there were a few tricks so I thought I'd post up a DIY for it. This was on a Q50 Red Sport but I doubt any other V37 model is very different (maybe just less steps for the intake heat exchanger hoses) I pulled the radiator out to flush it because the car was running hot at the track, but obviously the same steps apply for changing a radiator for any reason including an upgrade. If you are removing the radiator, you of course need to drain and refill, so have 5+ litres of blue coolant ready. You don't need to drain the intake heat exchanger to remove the radiator but depending on your plans you may need a couple of litres for that as well. You will also need something to deal with the auto transmission lines, I used 2x 8mm rubber caps on the radiator side, and a short length of 8mm pipe on the car side.....unless you can block these lines quickly you will loose AT fluid and it may be enough to hurt the transmission if you don't refill it. Other than that....lets go... "First, jack up your car". Yes really, and put it safely on stands. If you are not confident doing that you need to give this job to a mechanic
    • If the forester is anything like our old 2007 GTB Liberty, I could near on run ling Long's and "rate them", as no matter what, it just hung to the road, even when abusing it in a hard launch in the wet, or throwing it at corners.
    • LOL, all of the CAI like Craig I just need to put a hole saw through my bumper Done and dusted, the car runs, which is nice, I'll take it for a spin when the weather clears up Just need to put the bumper back on for good
    • Brooooo Please send ABS control unit schematic Please! R33 gts25t ABS (Its two plug ecu, black and white) wire colors possible? [email protected]
    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
