2nd hand nardi classic

Really? Dont like the old style wheels lol hmm i need something with abit of white in it as my theme is white and grey, something like black leather silver spoked and some white in there somewhere who knew it was so hard to find a steering wheel im so picky arghh!

but for $200 including a boss kit (which vary from $50 to $100 on their own) you are looking at second hand or chinese copy stuff only. not going to find a genuine italian made leather momo or nardi for $100-$150 new... still nothing wrong with used if it's good nick. given it's something you use all the time though maybe consider saving a few more bucks and hold out for something nicer?

nardi deep corn

Enough Said!

Nothing wrong with the classic Nardi. i have one slight dish looks amazing and oldschool but still very modern and sleak. (also not totally out there on the PO PO radar)

However i also bought an OMP corsica (I think) in suede, mate has one on his drift car and it was amazing when i drove it so bought one.

If your an ebay fan, maybe check ebay UK for OMP and also Nardi at good prices. dont get a chinese or thailand copy get a real one. They just look better!

I found in 5 mins a couple of good ones on ebay UK (most genuine ones were in boss kit sets for Euro cars) maybe PM sellers to see whether they can ship just a wheel at a cheaper price given the Boss kit will weight a bit.

I would really recommend OMP. just feels so nice! and in the Gtr sits you back in the seat and great turning response. Flat face will sit alternatively rather forward depending on your driving style setup etc etc.

hope that helps!! whatever you do. if you can dont cheap out and get a shpecked up Ebay wheel get a decent one for a few hundred max or second hand and a nice boss kit. your car will thank you!

screw your theme, nardi deep corn FTW!!

Honestly it looks like its good quality but the look of it doesnt do it for me. Did you see the link i put up on ebay i want something like that. ^^^^

i did, honestly ive never liked the look of any of those sort of wheels. i just cant help thinking that they wouldnt look out of place in an old commy yucky.gif

imo go for either a nardi classic

or the momo wheel suggested by N1GTR

see choosing either of those largely depends how you drive as well..While the nardi is more a drift wheel the momo style is a racers wheel.. those little hand grips promote confidence somewhat when cornering at high speed but they just get in the way if your sliding..

however if you dont plan on driving or sliding then just get whatever you think looks cool :D

MOMO Race

This is where I got mine from, seemed a bit sus cause it was so cheap, but mines genuine and in good condition

That 'Nissan' Wheel looks like a MOMO race with a big Nissan horn button from another steering wheel stuck onto it. Not nice at all. If you want something like that then you should just buy one of the Nissan horn buttons off ebay and replace the MOMO horn button with that. Would look alot nicer

No, the one the OP likes is truly, wonderfully, Awful!!!!

haha Yeah that saas is just cheap and tacky, the Nissan Momo is quality, but very ugly..

the one 89cal listed is very nice..I'd say its a winner.

so what does everybody else have, I got an Ol skool Fittipaldi wheel like this..38767874383_large.jpg

    • An update regarding the registration with the DVLA I sent off the paperwork the day after I collected the car from the port, two weeks later it was all returned with a letter explaining they have rejected the application. This was because the cheque was £20 short for the road tax (I used a price list I found online). Nevermind it is what it is, it was sent back to them the following day with a new cheque. Fast forward another 2 weeks or so, I called them for an update to be told it had been rejected. Yesterday (16th September) I received the documents back along with another letter, this time it was because I didn't put an X in one box on the V750 (personalised number plate certificate), which declared that I had the rights to the personalised number plate. Why this wasn't mentioned in the first rejection letter, I don't know, but it could have saved this headache. The documents were sent back today, so fingers crossed third times a charm and it'll FINALLY be registered on the road just in time for the bad weather (woohoo!) To cheer myself up I lowered the front 25mm, was sick of seeing it sit like a monster truck. No idea how much clearance I'll have getting on and off the driveway, I'll worry about that when I can actually drive it

    • A few little updates that weren't filmed due to not taking long to do or not interesting enough for their own video. My new K&N Air Filter arrived, I went with an RU-4180 which matched the dimensions of the universal cone filter the car originally had.  The battery had gone flat, while that was charging I tidied up the spaghetti wiring at the bulk head and down the sides of the engine Next job was to swap the stereo The Kenwood harness had the female ISO plugs cut off and the male ISO plugs cut off the adaptor loom and joined with bullet connectors. I ordered in a repair loom through work and re-did it all. New Kenwood unit installed (Android Auto, DAB, Bluetooth, Reverse Camera) The bonnet/hood gas struts have been poor since collecting the car. I couldn't find any suitable replacements locally so took a chance on a pair from AliExpress.  The originals don't use a retaining clip to secure the cup onto the ball fixture, would explain why I struggled for 10-15mins trying to pry off the cups. The ball fixtures unscrew using a 12mm spanner, new ones are the same size. Sadly no photo of them fitted, you're not missing much lol The dished Momo steering wheel got replaced with my Momo Tuner, turns out I ordered counter sunk bolts for the horn trim ring (like they normally are for the steering wheel) instead of allen cap (flat seat)  A terrible photo of a Quaife style gear shift knob I've had stashed in my tool box for many years after purchasing the incorrect thread size (I can see a pattern emerging with ordering incorrect parts...) Also threw in a cup holder and a (empty) Boss Coffee can, because why not
