I'm not that stupid lol.

They won't ship interstate because of the "transport of dangerous good" excuse.

Charlie looked a bit better on the back of mine :/

This is what happens when you ride motards for too long

<snip>

I'd be too scared of doing this with a 200hp bike:

Although I do like the look of the R1.. very much so.

Try this guy, I bought my spray can from him. Think he has tins in stock too if i remember correctly.

thanks!

another question

Solid mounts: yes or nor(reasons supporting why not)

Haha don't kid yourself, similar shit will happen on any bike you ride. We can still hit the bike tracks :P

Which year R1 do you prefer?

Yeah true, still laughing over that night.. that push biker thinking wtf is a R1 doing on the bike track? lol

I'd go for a 08 or newer, like both shapes but wouldnt want to spend much over 10 if I go down that path so would limit me to an 08 all are great bikes though. Apparently the newer engine has better power delivery (or so my friend with a 2011 says) he loves shenanigans too.. often jerks himself off while going past bus stops with people waiting lol.. they get mad and I /wave at them

Haha I wanna go back there but also want to preserve option notice until November...somehow I reckon they'd break the notice if they caught me.

Haven't ridden the new one so can't comment on power delivery, it is slightly down on power or torque though, compared to my engine. Ever so slightly slower in a straight line too, but I'm sure the power delivery different makes up for it. Mine doesn't really come alive until 5k-6k.

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
