i just had the most pointless arguement with autoxcess in Coburg.

for some reason he thought I was being rude?

i needed new remotes for the varex, and they sent me the control box with no remotes.

so i called him to let him know and he said thats what i asked for? I dont know why I would ask for a control box when I needed remotes.

any way I said its fine, its a $40 difference, and if I had to send it back i'd have to post it coz of work hours. I told him if he could just send the remotes it'll be cool.

nah, guy f**kin lost it lol and i told him we are going around in circles with who said what, it doesnt matter 'whatever' just send the remote.

irish accent - "dont fookin wah-eva mee maet. doon cole mee on a fridee bee-in a smar-ass"

i started laughing in disbelief and said what? I'm trying to help you. and he hung up lol.

so i called him back and said, did you hang up? and he goes nah ill send the remotes today. and hung up again.

/rant

just thought I should consult the wasteland.

Edit: just noticed i can't fookin spell

Lol I couldn't care any less, all I wanted was some remotes.. He's probably having an off day.. I've dealt with him plenty of times and hes pretty good.

Just today I didn't know what was happening lol

Probably just has his period

77 days of leave payout... I need to take more time off :D

Lol surprised your work didn't try and force you to take some annual leave

turns out BC ER's dont clear my rear wheels =/

prob going to need to run spacers / roll guards

It doesn't clear? Are the springs thick or something?

Run at least 10mm spacers.

And why haven't I seen this thing around, I've been home for 3 weeks and not a sight of it!

    • 1/8NPT drill size = 8.7mm. Since the hole got messed up by me, it’s probably around 9mm.    So 1/4” NPT would be next step. A drill size of around 11mm would be preferred there which is not way of my M12 (drill 10.5mm and tap M12 threads)

    • Why are you so adamant on going M12? Why not follow Brad (GTSBoy) suggestion. You're talking moving from a 1/8" size, to a 1/2" effectively. 4 times bigger. Why skip the commonly available sizes in between? The bigger you go, the more likely you are to strip the threads out at a later date, as guaranteed, someone will put a huge spanner on the M12 and really tighten it up, and you're only in thin wall, so not a lot of threads to engage!
    • Hi. Yeah thanks. Car is already at tuners and it staying there to resolve "many" issues they do not like. So it is in a good hands. Getting a good tune on that Nistune ECU too so the car would be good. Just needs a little tune up and love.
    • Probably gonna remove manifold and turbo. I’m not sure if I can get M12 x 1.5 air tight. Could use high temp Loctite 246 or something similar, but I don’t know. Maybe it’s just best to remove everything again and weld an 1/8NPT on there instead.
