relationship advice?

Yep

What happened Matty?

Spoke to her last weekend, said I'm not gonna have any regrets, so just one last time, do you want to try again?

She said No. Had a bit of an argument, got upset, next day thought "f**k you" and started moving on. Today she messaged me about picking up her shit then wanted me to drop it off, I said No. Of course she started an argument over it and resorted to insults, and I didn't. I didn't give two f**k's, I felt nothing anymore, and I loved it.

Add in the fact that I'm seeing a f**kin cute as f**k chick this weekend, 10 times hotter than my ex... yeah, I'm already happy :P

Great to hear mate, it'll only get easier too. Sounds like you got closure from the "no regrets" thing, pushing all the blame onto her.You may have a relapse or two along the way (hopefully not), but stay strong - they will disappear in time and keeping yourself distracted is a great way about it. If you start thinking about her or get the urge to communicate again, just think about all the things that pissed you off about her and how she hurt you during the break up.

Don't fall into the trap of comparing new girls to your ex, as is common after a recent break up and can bring up feelings you don't want. Just have fun and enjoy the good parts of being single. You never know when you'll meet another one worth keeping!

And...it's completely normal to always have a soft spot for someone you once loved...when someone is a huge part of your life for so long, there will always be memories and nostalgia. So don't feel bad about that if it happens.

I'm like 178cm ~90kg and I wear a 52......

... I... I don't know brah. Didn't try 48 since 50 felt pretty damn snug... Could try when I go back but :O

edit: also probably not some ripped unit like you.... yet. (A LONG WAY AWAY "YET") :P

You might be alright mate. I'm snug in a 52 and 187cm, only 80kg. Body shapes and brands vary so much. Just make sure it's tight, but allows you to move around on a bike. Pas had me sit on a bike at Peter Stevens, which you should do to get a feel for if the gear is too restrictive. And remember, it will loosen up over time. You're doing the right thing

Dezz has huge legs if I recall correctly.

Oooh, that's an idea. When I go to make my purchase I might ask if they'll let me do just that :D. Yeah with the loosening up considered, I was edging towards the 50. Also it had the insert liner thingy you could take out for summer, which frees it up a little? Plus my cut continues... maybe factor that in... xD.

Cheers for advice though, liking the sit-on-a-bike-there-with-it idea.

    • I thought it could be an issue because the standard plate was flexing when stressed. Maybe the original gear set will hold a bit better without flex? Last time on the dyno it made around 670nm at the hubs. Now it have bigger turbo and better intake but have not been on a dyno yet. The car is being used from family trips to drag race events. So the shifts can be a little violent. It is grinding if I shift to fast so was thinking I should overhaul it soon.
    • From the factory on RB26s there's a fitting on the intake manifold collector/"plenum" that provides pre-throttle boost signal. That's how they did it back in the day, I figure it's fine to replicate it.
    • I would be surprised if that wasn't the issue. It's probably telling you, that even if you remove the plastic liner, you may have some other clearance issues that may occur too in some scenarios. IE, tyre to guard. It looks like someone has already rolled the lip, but you may still have issues in the future IE, turning and hitting a bump etc. The fact it changes how bad it makes the noise when you are going backward vs forward is highly indicative that it's the tyre rubbing. They do make a terrible sound, even if you're only pushing a project car that has a liner hanging down on a tyre!   Has the car been lowered? If it has been, what is the measurement from the centre of the wheel hub to the lip of the guard straight up?

    • Mark's a bit smarter than people give him credit... He'd convince the person that is to become dead, to drive him to the forest first. That way his car has no evidence in it, and he's free to dispose of their vehicle permanently how he sees fit too...
