Maybe my area is also still 147 (-4c)... Think dad just got home, maybe he saw. *goes to check*.

----------------------------------

In other news, got a grade that was lower than I expected for one of my units. I was certain I should HD it, lols. Email lecturer etc, turns out some error in their spreadsheet wasn't taking into account one of my assignments...

So if I hadn't thought something was odd, and taken initiative, this wouldn't have been fixed, I would've had a lower grade and shit, no-one the wiser... Can not trust the system at all these days...

Well as it turns out, it WAS indeed an HD, so :P

Depends on the subjects. Arts I expect nothing less than HD's, Eng I try to maintain at least D's. So they don't write me off without an interview or something :'(

Yet end up being so lazy in-semester. Every semester will "be different"... but nope hahaha.

I have 16 cent / litre vouchers muhahaha

If anyone in eastern suburbs wants a 10 cent / litre voucher, I have a few of them too.

Yeah i got a 17c one from woolworths the other night. Something is going on.....maybe the supermarket petrol retailers using the price per barrel hike as an opportunity to try squeeze a few more independents with these tasty discount vouchers.

>spends $5 fuel driving to birds for 10c voucher

>saves $3.37 at petrol station

>profit!

Except he lives close enough on the way to places that it's the other way around, at least :P

I think I live slightly closer than from yours even, judging by last time direction when he said he dropped by yours when he dropped off my bike :P

haha was just guessing, no actual math done (slow day too) - then again my car is sitting on 16l/100 i suppose.

I live about 8 minutes from Birds I'd say.. I live in dat dere Wantirna / Knox danger area hence me not owning a skyline

Thinking gym > kebabs tonight..

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.

    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
