Well with the shitty exchange rate these days savings wont be as much but should still be cheaper. From memory my diamond from the states was over half the price compared to Aus

$15k for diamond? Baller!

My opinion is cut is the most important. It determines the 'brilliance' and sparkle

Clarity and colour. Just go for the best that the eye can see. Why pay for double for imperfections that you can only see under a micrscope at 100x zoom

Then just go for the biggest diamond lol

Make sure to inspect and get a report on the diamond, can get independant along with the GIA report to make sure its not dodgey

lol had an argument with a (Chinese!) colleague about clarity the other day...he maintained it was worthwhile cause if his wife is in a room with other women they'll be comparing diamonds and next to another diamond they'll see the difference in clarity...I said you need to find another woman

Thanks Ric...should have you round for a drink nohomo...did you notice the Versace decanter?

IMO trick is to buy grog too expensive to drink on the daily (am aware I have baileys and midori in there; it's a rule of thumb jack ass). And replace what you do take when you take it.

Haha do it fgt.. I did see the decanter, very nice

That's basically my strategy for keeping it stocked. My henny and patron don't get touched a lot. Been through more Tanqueray than I care to remember though

Will probably do another Dan Murphy's run soonish

Any connoisseur of the rare and exotic needs to visit Nick's wine merchants in Doncaster if you haven't already

In fact everyone should visit regardless, and even if you've already been there

mmm chartruese.

been off it for a while and then had some the other night with lemon cordial. made me remember why i used to rave on about decent spirits. had a few too many beers over the course of last week and felt like crap overall. will make the change.

i need me a decent cocktail making set and some whiskey glasses (im not into whiskey, its for the new front table in the gloria) do versace sell whiskey glasses?

I cracked open a 6 year old bottle of chartreuse 110 the other day

Surprisingly smoother than I remember it...either my tastebuds and throat have changed or that drink got smoother with time, which it really shouldn't given the content

You're damn right they do son

Thick bottomed ones with the Medusa head suspended in the middle

Almost pulled the trigger on them when I bought the vase

You got older

Your taste buds died a little

Your whole body is dying

We are all dying

Little by little

Every day

This is what I explain to people when they turn their nose up at white wine and tell me when you're more "experienced" you'll have an appreciation for red over white

No mofo, you just lost your sweet tooth

f**kin lol, glad my missus loves diamond simulants just the same, and would be happy with a ring that costs 1-2 grand max.

Not entirely... If i drink white it's not that sweet shit. Never liked it.

Yeah but those people usually scoff at the thought of a dessert wine or a moscato

Pretty funny even cellar door people have bagged them out when they are selling the fkin stuff

Nothing wrong with a desert wine to accompany a desert.

The correct way to have dinner is:

While waiting for your table, Belvedere martini (franklin)

Upon besing seated and perusing the menu Draft beer or champagne if it's an occasion.

Order food and request a wine match for each course.

Drink beers in between courses to cleanse your pallate.

if desert, desert wine

If cheese, choose cheese and request wine match.

After desert XO Armagnac as a digestive.

Then elsewhere for scotch

    • So, this shouldn't be such a mission, but there were a few tricks so I thought I'd post up a DIY for it. This was on a Q50 Red Sport but I doubt any other V37 model is very different (maybe just less steps for the intake heat exchanger hoses) I pulled the radiator out to flush it because the car was running hot at the track, but obviously the same steps apply for changing a radiator for any reason including an upgrade. If you are removing the radiator, you of course need to drain and refill, so have 5+ litres of blue coolant ready. You don't need to drain the intake heat exchanger to remove the radiator but depending on your plans you may need a couple of litres for that as well. You will also need something to deal with the auto transmission lines, I used 2x 8mm rubber caps on the radiator side, and a short length of 8mm pipe on the car side.....unless you can block these lines quickly you will loose AT fluid and it may be enough to hurt the transmission if you don't refill it. Other than that....lets go... "First, jack up your car". Yes really, and put it safely on stands. If you are not confident doing that you need to give this job to a mechanic
    • If the forester is anything like our old 2007 GTB Liberty, I could near on run ling Long's and "rate them", as no matter what, it just hung to the road, even when abusing it in a hard launch in the wet, or throwing it at corners.
    • LOL, all of the CAI like Craig I just need to put a hole saw through my bumper Done and dusted, the car runs, which is nice, I'll take it for a spin when the weather clears up Just need to put the bumper back on for good
    • Brooooo Please send ABS control unit schematic Please! R33 gts25t ABS (Its two plug ecu, black and white) wire colors possible? [email protected]
    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
