but then all you have to do is leave the same lot of drivers in the top 10 and you are garanteed to get points everyweek even if you have the order all wrong. the castrol one gives you 10 points for correct, 5 points for 1 place off, 2 points for 2 places off. so you have to be somewhat correct to get points. makes sense to me.

true a bit more fine tuning and it good be even better. one point for having in top ten would help. has anyone got point for most places gained??

Yeah but it's 2012 and HD tv's are pretty much standard, I mean for FFS they had the BTCC on oneHD yesterday but F1 doesn't cut the mustard. Someone's head has to roll for this, they can't give it in HD then take it away, shit ain't right.

I remember the turbo cars at Adelaide, great memorius

yep great days. i live 20KM from the track and could hear the screams from home. The old lamboghini's practising with no engine cover is something ill never forget

F1 back to a decent track. pity it will be alternating with spa though. Wonder if it would have happened if it wasnt owned by Bernie

It'sa farking joke. So is he paying himself to host a GP? No Spa is a farking DISGRACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :verymad: :verymad: :verymad: :verymad: :domokun: :domokun: :domokun:

Ricard needs overhauls such as media accomodation (tiny), extra vip accomodation, lots more parking on the outside of the circuit (the airport would be needed for the vips

In a recent article discussing Bernies short term=stupid approach to the US GPs in the 80s...."Had Ecclestone bit the bullet and hung in there he might have wound up owning the Glen and maybe Long Beach too, giving him real power in American motor racing. But as with Bahrain, F1 today is always about the next bag of gold rather than long-term planning and building the sport’s popularity in places that not only have a passion for F1, but are also the perfect and proper venues for Grand Prix racing."

Should be going to Magny Cours and Bernie needs to lower his licensing fees so amazing places like Spa get to keep their GP. It is such an amazing place, and gives us such amazing races....instead we are stuck with Valencia, Bahrain, China, Korea etc ...places that cant give a shit about F1 and simply line Bermies pockets

I still watched it back in the 90's on a grainy as f**k old school TV from the 70's

and weren't channel 9 the masters of not giving a toss about F1- even if a race started live eastern time at 10pm, they'd still delay the coverage until 2 or 3am.

With Alan Jones and Big Darryl. The earliest non-Aus GP I remember is Brazil then Silverstone 89. I remember watching the Japanese GP one year as it was on earlier then usual but cant remember what year it was or who won etc. I did remember watshing the Senna-Prost bingle Mk1 through

Ten are such d!cks even Mr Webber is is commenting.

Edit:

Just noticed this too

http://tensport.com....t-statement.htm

Did you notice ten said they had 46% more viewers for the same round lastyear.. so thats 0% in 2011 and 46% in 2012. lol

    • My guesstimate, with no real numbers to back it up, is it won't effect it greatly at all.its not a huge change in position, and I can't see the air flow changing from in turbulence that much based on distance, and what's in front of it. Johnny and Brad may have some more numbers to share from experience though.
    • Which solenoid? Why was it changed? Again, why was this done? ...well, these wear..but ultimately, why was it changed? Did you reset the idle voltage level after fitment? I'm just a tad confused ~ the flash code doesn't allude to these items being faulty, so in my mind the only reason to change these things, would be some drive-ability issue....and if that's the case, what was the problem? Those questions aside, check if the dropping resistor is OK ...should be 11~14 ohms (TCU doesn't throw a flash code for this) ~ also, these TCU designs have full time power (to keep fault code RAM alive), and I think that'll throw a logic code (as opposed to the 10 hardware codes), if that power is missing (or the ram has gone bad in the TCU, which you can check..but that's another story here perhaps).
    • Question for people who "know stuff" I am looking at doing the new intake like the one in the picture (the pictured is designed for the OEM TB and intake plenum), this design has the filter behind the front bar, but, the filter sits where the OEM duct heads into the front bar, and the standard aperture when the OEM ducting is removed allows the filter to pulled back out of the front bar into the engine bay for servicing, a simple blanking plate is used to seal the aperture behind the filter This will require a 45° silicone hose from the TB, like the alloy pipe that is currently there, to another 45° silicone hose to get a straight run to the aperture in the front bar Question: how will it effect the tune if I move the MAF about 100-150mm forward, the red is around where my MAF is currently, and the green would be where it would end up Like this This is the hole the filter goes through  Ends up like this LOL..Cheers
    • Despite the level up question, actually I do know what that is....it is a pressure sender wire.  So check out around the oil filter for an oil pressure sender, or maybe fuel pressure near the filter or on the engine. Possibly but less likely coolant pressure sensor because they tend to be combined temp/pressure senders if you have one. Could also be brake pressure (in a brake line somewhere pre ABS) but maybe I'm the only one that has that on a skyline.
    • Pull codes via the self-diagnosis procedure. As far as I can tell this is just a sign of transmission issues but not a code unto itself.
