yeah i kinda cant be bothered gapping plugs anymore

i was told to get heat range 7s

and the problem is bursons no longer have BCPR on there system any more which makes me think theres a different part number for them now i think i can use bkr7e from memory which come pregapped

the only difference between the BK and BCP plugs is the length of the plug from the gasket to the top of the plug (where the coil plugs onto). the BK's are about 2.5mm shorter, could be enough to make a bad connection to the coil?

whether it has a v-groove or not is in the S part of the part number, BCPR6ES is a standard tip, BCPR6E is a v-groove tip.

i just picked up a set of BCPR7ES last week at supercheap, so you can still get them.

ok cool as i might give that a shot

do u know who sells them pregapped to .8 i can get .9 from bursons but im thinking i might goto supercheap and get a gapping tool from them to kinda looks like a 20 cent coin if u know what i mean

im thinking about getting bcpr7es as i have a 25 with nstune ecu cooler exhaust 555cc injectors and 13-14psi for a month or 2 untill i sell my brand new gt3582 so i can get a gt3076 and put that on

get the plug p/n AGSP22YE09 from ford. genuine plug made by denso. my tuner insisted i use them as they are the best they've used and are platinum i think? and only 15 bucks each

Interesting you say this, i noticed when changing the spark plugs in mrs ba xr6 turbo, it had ngk plugs im pretty sure same part number as rb25det plugs... i decided to get some geniune ford plugs, they were marked denso and only cost me $60 for the set... i was thinking of replacing my r34 with the same plugs from ford anyone else can confirm this will be suitable?

    • The issue now is the 'fuel cut' while driving, and when it happend, it does not stall. This, I did not test the fuel pressure while driving as I cannot with a fuel pressure gauge. I do have Nistune logs, yes. I have also replaced the MAF Sensor.   Also related to the FPG Fuel Hanger – I just realized that I need a Deutsch Crimp Tool to crimp some cables for the FPG Fuel Hanger. Need to purchase additional cables as the kit only included 2, which are for the float. FPG is has not responded to my emails so far after purchasing. I thought about taking it to someone and having it done professionally, but I am reluctant since everyone I took it to messed up in some way.
    • There's a good German place in Brisbane if youre up for the drive 😛
    • The German place in Cabramatta was rock solid, fresh pretzel cooked to order back then. Then it went all quiet, after all the poker machines were removed, then I believe it closed for good. I did drive past the other week and noticed outdoor lighting a big screen, but no idea what is there now.
    • Yeah I suspect even if you hold airmass per cycle/cylinder constant if you get too far away from stock you're still going to have problems running the factory tune within the bounds of the factory load scale. Cams, different displacement/rod ratio, etc. I'm just lucky that the GTIII-SS with wastegate boost + CA compliance cats is pretty much equivalent to stock turbos. When I have actual space I can finally get it tuned and modify the fuel system for flex fuel to 100% handle any detonation concerns when cranking the boost to whatever those dinky turbos can put out.
    • I would say no, why, because my daughter, who also lives in Goulburn, hasn't recommended us going there Pity, as we miss all the German joints around in Sydney, actually, the restaurants are the only thing I really miss about Sydney, and a special mention to Ishibanboshi at Bondi Junction, their Kara-age Don is heart cloggingly deliciousness (always added a special boiled egg...or 2) 😋
