yeah my bro in law ended up in hospital after too many rockstars, and another mate had to have meds for heart palpitations caused by an excessive red bull intake..But fark Trev, my best was Melbourne to Rockhampton in about 22hours solo. But you have smashed that..well done..

Though I have heard the western red bull is something special ;)

Yeah I prob wasn't far off those blokes on the trip over. My heart wanted out of my chest.was surprisingly calm behind the wheel but a fruit loop when getting fuel etc. I couldn't write my details when I arrived at the hotel and had to get reception to do it for me. Was the only time I've had more than 2 at a time.

Anyways not relevant to thread. Back on topic.

useage: Street Driven but will begin trackdays. Have a Low Boost setting 270rwkw

failure: Overheated - Cooling system was overhauled, Hoses, Waterpump, Thermostat and Koyorad Aluminium Radiator
comments:The price for this entry ticket has been very hefty and to be honest, I really didn't take into account what would really be involved when embarking on this journey!

Dyno graph and how many boosts? Sorry to gear about the overheat.... The stock engines are the way to go with E85 though so as Scott said have a spare one handy, i will eventually :)

Apologies, I mistook failure to be 'failures that have occured along the way'. It appears I can't edit the post at work, probably since we're still on Internet Explorer 6. So for now, as of Today, it's happy story and really glad to share this with you all. Can't wait till 5 o'clock to go pick it up and drive it for the first time at this power level.

It was pretty funny talking to the workshop yesterday. They advised they hit 290kw since it wouldn't make any more with the stock airbox. I literally told them I wanted to get into the '300kw Unopened 25 Club'. haha

Took a bit of boost to get there when compared to others (19PSI). The stock airbox was believed to be responsible. Eventually had to resort to making several holes in the airbox to open it up. Set-up looks very factory. Graph for below:

Yep there is, now take your GT37 and go join it haha.... Looking forward to following your build

Hi Tranman , I'd like to see your intake from the Z32 to the GTX3076R if possible because many claim its difficult to do .

Do we know for sure if the std GTS25T airbox can't support 300 RWKW , I still have mine and it has a cleanable Piper Cross element in it . I'd also like to see the box mods as I like stealth and I'm using the same IC as yours . The airbox in R33 GTRs must be significantly better if it supports more than 290-300 RWKW .

Good effort , cheers A .

Just make a flange on inside of airbox bolting to AFM, then run a pipe straight out the bottom to a ppod filter! Had that set up for years, passed DECC an everything LOL i even had the stock panel filter in place above the pipe

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
