cruise up whittlesea lol, actually, down here its very straight roads etc (from what i know of) but im sure the russian, snowy and that nismoid fella would find some small road to exploit...although i do know of many ofroad tracks, but if you were complaining about ur front bars now i dont think these ones should be thought about

Thanks for the photo oak...but i think the last count on the way home it was 5 to 4...MY WAY........I think also my front bar is due for a respray now after that cruise...i think i need to fix the chips on the windscreen as well.. anyone else cop rocks on the windscreen!!haha

Good day..thanks to everyone who organised it

hey Al and Shivram...thanks for the invite..just kiddin

My front bar had been resprayed a week before the cruise along with my hood and now the front bar is wasted and the new hood has a chip :( Ahh well it was worth it!

Yes well done by all the organisers for a great day had a ball.

Nice roads mostly nice speed limits and lots of sweet cars :D

just remember not to do come on a cruise with warped rotors or people that hit you when you do the speed limit like the other cars :(

CR34TION - when did i do that? sorry :D i don't even know when i would of done that :(

i coped alot of stones all day up with the front pack of GTR's... most of them hit my windshield... but no cracks etc... my front bar needs a good paintclean/polish

actually ferni, i noticed that when you passed me your car caused a lot of stones to fly up. You were on the other lane so none hit me, but you did manage to launch a fair few into the air. Do you have underbody diffusers or something? coz there was a GTSt you were overtaking and it wasn't throwing much up, just the ones from the rear wheels which is expected.

The stones coming out of yours seemed like they were rebounding under your car and as you car passed the stone they got launched up. Wierd, must be some aerodynamic stuff.

my front bar looks fully sandblasted, few down to bare metal chips on the bonnet & tops of 1/4 panels. Even the windscreen is all pitted now....

was a great cruise!! Very well organised an was a fun day.....had a good drive with GOLGO trying to catch up with the group at the winerly after a small fuel stop, the ol gts-t kept up pretty well i reckon.

but unfortunatly it's gonna cost a fair bit to fix my car :( anyone know where to get car bra's made an what there worth for our cars? I dont really like car bra's....but if we're gonna cruise on back roads I can definatly see the value in one.

great to see so many photo's, keep em comin....i forgot my cam on the day....doh'

wish someone gave james a camera on that turn... while he chatted up the dad n his lil kids. Would've been awesome to just see all the cars come up and then rip the corner n fly off.

yeah carbras are the go for gravel roads... i'll be gettin one made up when i put the bodykit n repaint on.

One with a bugshilwd n wind deflector, think it costs about $300-$400 for a custom one to fit your car snugly. However it should be cheaper if we all go together lol.

funky- wierd.. i have no idea why that would happen... i dont have my stone gaurd on off hte front of my car - didn't have a chance to put it back on at my mechanics the other day...

no diffusers as far as i know... only thing i can think of is if torque was being sent to my front wheels and that was flicking up stones? hmmmm

abcent - loved your bodykit... rear looks REALLY good.... but MSPEC said your wing was flapping at high speed? heh

Next Group Buy: Car Bra :(

Seriously I reckon mine got hit the worst - or the fact that its a black car with grey / white stone chips at the front - I am talking at least 500 chips, not happy :D

could explain the difference between yours and the GTSt... front wheels flick up the stones, rebound along the body of the car and whoomp in the air out the back of your car... lol... nice trick :(

When your doing the "speed limit" on roads like that, in groups like that, on country roads thats whats going to happen..

My brand new HKS cooler copped a beating!! front bar had a few dings but i didnt tail gate like I saw a LOT of people doing.

    • HFM BM57 has a "bad" knee point, IIRC. It's not the same thing as the later R chassis MC.
    • The ATTESSA is functionally identical to R34; there were a bunch of JDM models that continued ATTESSA including Fuga/Q70, Skyline/Q50, Cima etc as an option. All with Auto only and I think mostly for snow regions. AFAIK there were no AWD VR30DDTT sold in Australia - it is on my to do list to check regs for racing a LHD car in Targa/ATR/AASA/CAMS events because if I can get the auto to work it would be interesting to run a 4wd car The Ecuteck TCM tuning is the same model as their ECU tuning, they already have it for R35 and Dose's favourite, BMW. You buy "points" to allow your computer to be tuned, buy either a bluetooth (phone app) or bluetooth+USB+Key (phone and PC) dongle, and pay for a tune that will be locked to your tuner ( ). You can also access the tuning software yourself but 1. it is mega expensive and 2. these computers have a billion parameters that intersect, so how could you ever spend enough time on it to get a decent result.
    • Or, is it a case of what it is like owning an R series Skyline? NFI what the previous owner has done or fiddled with... Ha ha ha After reading through this thread, I went on a bit of a research about the Q50/Q60. Now I'm quite intrigued by them! Is the AWD in them more like a WRX where it's always AWD, or is it more like the ATTESSA in the GTRs? By the sound of this TCU tuning, this sounds like a case of someone has made some real software for it, and you just need the right piece of hardware, and then you license that specific vehicle/TCU. Or is this a case of the software will be really expensive so only a few tuners have it, and you still have to pay a license per vehicle?
    • By popular demand.. it was a coil. Got my hands on 1 new OEM coil, replaced with the one that made the less noise difference when I unplugged it while the car was running and started the car up. No stutter and the engine light was gone. I guess I’ll buy the other 5 they have lol
    • No, code 21 is very straightforward. It can only be the things described in that diagnostic flow. In fact it has no way of knowing that the spark plug resistance is out of spec.
