think i mite have spotted Showza on payneham road this morning. Looked like his 4 door (gtr front end, and what looked like white work emotions stickin out the guards). was drivin the other way in the Y-Climb truck

Nah, wasn't me :laugh: My car's sittin out the front of my house with no motor :)

Had Dan (sinista) behind me going from Wakefield onto Pultney St today, till he turned off at the Ale House.. Doubt you recognised me as I was in the SP23 , but I saw your silver mirrors a mile off!! (and your mug through the windscreen haha)

Silver 34 4 dour up at lofty tonite, chick driver. Said shes a member but not very active on the forums.

Also spotted us needing RAA assistance when lukes mums car wouldnt start up at lofty. Apparently all the signals from antennas etc effect some alarm/immobiliser equipment. Grrr

spotted "R32GTR" at mitre 10 in salisbury just a little while ago

Spotted twice now > :):) The line came out on a sunday because the laser was needed for family duty with my wife .(YAY :) )

The car is filfy though at the moment (damm water restrictions)

My ears are tuned to hear RB's lol . Were you in your line because I didnt hear you.(very busy day mind u).

Spotted today, a white 33 on goodwood road bout 12.15pm, stopped at the crossing. You would have seen me cos you were watching me look at ya car lol Then ya took off from the lights haha

Also tonight at 5.30pm a greyish R32 gtst at the tram line on south road heading towards anzac. Number plates were Stock looking.

spotted a bayside-blue looking series 1 r33 on main nth rd today, turned down the rd that goes past parafield airport, went a bit fast tho ad made a little bit of smoke and sideways motion as he was turning :D

Spotted today:

Silver R32 GTR going down south road near the tram line heading away from anzacs. Was around 7.00am this morning. Nice car mate. I was the dude walking down the medium strip if ya saw me and if your on here.

Black R34 on south road heading away from anzacs again near the tram line, was at 5.15pm tonight.

And a Red R33 every morning heading towards the city down south road, Plates are BB 600? Was at autosalon in the SAU display so ya on here.. Nice looking car :D

    • Wife wanted basket things in the wardrobe in our temporary house. Thought about ripping our the wardrobe and fitting the entire IKEA set, but it's a temporary house and we want to move in a few years. So IKEA advertises this as a 50cm unit, however the actually basket and rails measure 46cm wide. Only issue was depth, IKEA stuff is quite deep, where as the builder special junk is super shallow at less than 40cm. Send it, chopped the rails, then offset the mounting holes, job done, happy wife, less shit scattered all over the bedroom. Did the same to the other side too. Also drove the Skyline shit box today, dropped off oil at Supercheap Auto. I didn't realise they only now take max 2x bottles per visit. I visited 2x Supercheap Autos.  
    • I've seen similar actually in my situation. You never know what tables are attempted to be used when the car thinks it's -99C or +200C. The fail state is not usually that extreme but you know what I mean - it was in my case though! This is where being able to read all the sensors is useful cause you see this stuff really quickly.
    • The above is very important. However as long as you keep timing relatively low, it's plausible to make your own knock ears and plausible to learn to tune with a modern ECU that can do wideband O2 correction like a boost controller. I mean if you only have one viable road to even drive the car on, learning to tinker to this level may be worth doing given you can't do much else with the car...?
    • I find the fact that the rear plate has to be bent inwards at the rear not so bad: but the front is just awful: It's like come on. (these are my very old, now retired/turned in plates) TBH it is a lot of money to fix a minor issue, the fact I said "I'll never really spend the money on doing this" is why people ended up buying them as a gift for a 'car guy' who can be hard to shop for.. for car guy things.
    • I just bent the ends of my premo plates. It even went through Regency like that after the engine conversion and the inspector (a great bloke!) just squinted his eyes and said "I didn't see that". Plates, and how they look, are just something that have zero importance to me.
