GTR-N1
There's a steep driveway at my Mum's place which would abrade low lips like nobody's business at the bottom concave section. Then I installed a rubber speed hump set. It took half an hour to get the positioning just right & then the masonry bolts went in. The lower lip only faintly brushes the rubber hump now Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/403665-steep-driveway/#findComment-6422140 Share on other sites

TTR34
Did the dodgy and used a plank of wood and some bricks... looks so shabby Will look @ investing in some of those rubber speed humps.... I have the same problem with the curve @ the top of the driveway. Have to reverse up to get out too! Skidding all over the place with the semi slicks ....0.o Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/403665-steep-driveway/#findComment-6422456 Share on other sites

Pezhead
I made a custom lip that was 20mm shorter than standard. Extreme approach but I have the driveway from hell (but ain't moving cause cost us just about everything we owned to get into this place). Oh and have the wood and bricks too to get out of the garage to the incline on the driveway (goes up then down onto the street). Chris-06R
Call council. Complain Driveway crossing is not built to spec. Get them to rebuild it for free. Can now get in and out if I get the angle right without touching anything Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/403665-steep-driveway/#findComment-6423525 Share on other sites
Tai1or Made
Invest in one of these. Or get anti gravity plates mounted to the bottom of the Skyline. Can be had cheaply on eBay. D.I.Y. Mik
Pick and shovel with hard work or a bobcat and cash. I made a driveway, carport, and level paved area all by hand. It helps to have construction experience so you get the drainage and retaining walls right. Second hand pavers and my own ute made it cheap. My back says i should have paid for a bobcat.
