Adis, great your entering! Can you please send me another entry form with you name on it and your car details. Between your post and diclaimer ive put you on the list, i just need it on an entry form ;)

Entry list updated. Only 4 spots left! Interesting field, lots of different cars and heaps of new names! On that, its going to be important that people get to Deca nice and early Saturday morning as it will take a bit more time to sort out so many new licences. Quicker we get that done the more time we have on track ;)

Must have missed it. Will do tomorrow. cheers

lol its all shit talk buddy

thread kinda went a lil boring

aim for about 8am, no one will be there before then anyways

speak for yourself, I'm not racing and will be there b4 8!

with a full entry list of 50 cars we will need all the time we can to process the cars!

as for s$%t talk, not game too till I get a diff...

oh and one more for good luck...a car we have not seen for a while...

I thought this car was a myth? Why don't you get the falcoon out there Ryooonnnn? Falcoon wars lol

head to car unload all loose items, except helmet

make sure extinguisher is firmly attached, ie no zip ties

come to scruitineering.

we will go over the car and give you the ok

Just re-inforcing what martin has said about scrutineering.

Saying "it passed at winton vicdrift event" is NOT AN EXCUSE. Means nothing to me coz we're not at winton.

If your fire extinguisher bracket is flimsy/wobbly or held on with a dodgy tek screws/cable ties you'll be sent away to fix it.

Make sure you have ALL your wheel nuts on!

If you have maccas wrappers and amps sliding around un-restrained anywhere in the car you'll be told to fix it and come back.

I'm not going to spend my day chasing up people that are late for scrutineering / need to fix their car up. FIX IT NOW

k, thanks :)

Just had an accident last night. Wasn't as bad as it could have been, but need to get a few things fixed.. N wheel alignment before deca.

Just confirming the last day we can pull out is 7th?

Thanks

disclaimer this video was not taken by me, I just happened to have a copy floating around.

Hey guys

just wondering if theres still room for entrants?

Also can anyone tell me if I need to be associated with a car club to enter?

last I heard was 3-4 spots left, so get forms in quick.

no need association you just need to buy a AASA license on the day.

that said joining SAU can be one of the greatest things you could do in your life ;)

Just emailed an entry for Joel.

Big weekend for me coming up to be ready in time for DECA. Tune is booked for Monday and my car hasn't been switched on since last October... Hoping things go smoothly.

Ha. What a hoon!

Delving into the past a bit there martin! How about we combine the two, go forwards a few years and have russ spinning this time:

Lol that wasn't a spin that was a WD recovery haha.

    • Ps i found the below forum and it seems to be the same scenario Im dealing with. Going to check my ECU coolant temp wire tomorrow    From NICOclub forum: s1 RB25det flooding at start up Thu Apr 11, 2013 7:23 am I am completely lost on this. Car ran perfectly fine when I parked it at the end of the year. I took the engine out and painted the engine bay, and put a fuel cell with an inline walbro 255 instead of the in tank unit I had last year. After reinstalling everything, the engine floods when the fuel pump primes. if i pull the fuel pump fuse it'll start, and as soon as I put the fuse back in it starts running ridiculously rich. I checked the tps voltage, and its fine. Cleaned the maf as it had some dust from sitting on a shelf all winter, fuel pressure is correct while running, but wont fire until there is less than 5psi in the lines. The fuel lines are run correctly. I have found a few threads with the same problem but no actual explanation of what fixed it, the threads just ended. Any help would be appreciated. I found the problem though. There was a break in one of the ecu coolant temp sensor wires. Once it was repaired it fired right up with no problems. I would have never thought a non working coolant temp sensor would have caused such an issue.
    • Hi sorry late reply I didnt get a chance to take any pics (my mechanics on the other side of the city) but the plugs were fouled from being too rich. I noticed the MAF wasn't genuine, so I replaced it with a genuine green label unit. I also swapped in a different ignitor, but the issue remains. I've narrowed it down a bit now: - If I unplug and reconnect the fuel lines and install fresh spark plugs, the car starts right up and runs perfectly. Took it around the block with no issues - As soon as I shut it off and try to restart, it won't start again - Fuel pressure while cranking is steady around 40 psi, injectors have good spray, return line is clear, and the FPR vacuum is working. It just seems like it's getting flooded after the first start I unplugged coolant sensors to see if its related to ECU flooding but that didnt make a difference. Im thinking its related to this because this issue only started happening after fixing coolant leaks and replacing the bottom part of the stock manifolds coolant pipe. My mechanic took off the inlet to get to get to do these repairs. My mechanics actually just an old mate who's retired now so ill be taking it to a different mechanic who i know has exp with RBs to see if they find anything. If you have any ideas please send em lll give it a try. Ive tried other things like swapping the injectors, fuel rail, different fuel pressure regs, different ignitor, spark plugs, comp test and MAF but the same issue persists.
