Williams still to score a point this season

How's that pay driver situation workin' out for ya?

Bottas has outclassed him so far this year, Maldonado makes a mistake every race, most of them you'd be expecting Bottas to make.....

That Lotus needs a bit more straight line speed, Red Bull falling behind now?

not with these tyres designed to degrade - the tyres aren't lasting any better at the end of the races with the cars on low fuel.

And Webber claims his Q3 lap was ruined because his rear tyres went off during that single qualifying lap on low fuel before the third sector!

remember that's not some experimental super soft gumball qualifying tyre - its a medium compound race tyre!

But when you see Alonso and Masse exit the pits for their 3rd stint and blast in 2 1:37s then back it off to 1:29s and later 1:30-1:31s its rather pathetic. Tyres that degrade are not a problem. Tyres that are hand grenades and cant be driven on for a few laps. They were running around 8 seconds off quali pace at the end of the race. The tyres were simply shot after 5-6 laps and had to be carried for stings of 15 laps.

Up until this race I can see the argument for and against the tyres. This race was so ridiculously bad that it will want to be a one off otherwise the rest of the year will be a joke. To see an F1 car wallowing under brakes and not be able to commit to corners!

Hell, Le mans cars can run on the limit for 24hrs and an F1 car now struggles to do 2 laps. It is rather rubbish

Honda has confirmed that it will return to Formula 1 in 2015 as engine supplier to McLaren.

The Japanese manufacturer has not competed in F1 since shutting its works team at the end of 2008, but has decided to return as a result of the change to 1.6-litre turbocharged V6 engines.

Honda president Takanobu Ito said it was a "joint project with McLaren" and that the team will be renamed McLaren-Honda.

Honda has been known to have been in talks with McLaren for some time and has already made significant progress with its all-new 1.6-litre turbocharged V6 Formula 1 engine, working out of its R&D facility in Tochigi, Japan.

It previously supplied McLaren with engines from 1988-1992, winning both the drivers' and constructors' championship four times.

McLaren boss Martin Whitmarsh hailed the new deal, saying: "Together Honda and McLaren have a great legacy; we formed a uniquely successful partnership that took on and beat the world.

"Together, we created some of the greatest, most iconic Formula 1 moments of all time which are still being talked about today all around the world.

"McLaren and Honda are about to embark on a new and extremely exciting adventure together, so on behalf of everyone at McLaren and also everyone that loves F1, I am delighted to welcome Honda back to sport."

Whitmarsh admitted that the previous success of McLaren-Honda creates huge weight of expectation.

But he believes the Japanese manufacturer is the ideal partner for the team to ensure it is successful in the future.

"For everyone that works for the company, the weight of our past achievements lies heavily on our shoulders," he said.

"It's a partnership synonymous with success.

"Together, during the 80s and the 90s, McLaren and Honda won 44 grands prix and eight world championships.

"Together, in 1988, we created the most successful Formula 1 car of all time, the all-conquering McLaren-Honda MP4/4 which was driven to victory 15 times out of 16 by Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost.

"Honda has an unrivalled pedigree as a manufacturer of turbocharged engines, making it the perfect engine partner for McLaren as we strive to deliver future success in F1.

"As we look to the future, Honda and McLaren are utterly committed to maintaining that legacy and to being successful once more."

    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything

    • What does it look like with highway driving? And yes, I had a similar thought as Duncan. It looks quite similar in my Stagea and I have made myself accept it as normal. Might have to look into it some day   Highway gets as low as 10l/100km on my end so I'm not as worried about it being a mechanical issue. More likely just the tune on the haltech.
