Hey guys,

So long story short is that my friend caught 3 people breaking into his car red handed.

The police rocked up and because the people didn't actually have the tool used to pop his lock off they got away.

The car was left with scratches and a damaged lock.

My friend managed to follow the guys back to their car and get a very clear photo of it.

They also told him that he better watch his back and that they will burn his car out next time.

So here are the pictures.

If you see this car or know where it's located I would appreciate if you contact me ASAP on 0408 257 613

Ah so that's what the Facebook shit was about. Will share! I can't believe they let him take a photo like that without a kerfuffle lol... usually they'd be threatened to delete the photo or had their faces punched in... physical description of ute owners?

Sorry about your friends car Mani :(

Full story:

So my friend decides just before going to bed that he will check on his brand new bike. He looks out the window and sees a persons head pop up from the passenger side of his car. He then flicks off the lights and goes outside while telling his girlfriend to call the police.

He hangs around pretending to talk on the phone waiting for the police to arrive. The police rocked up with the 3 guys still beside his car, they tell the police they needed to do a piss so they went behind the car. Police have no tools used in the breaking of the lock so let the guys go.

My friend ends up calling his girlfriends brother to tell him about it and the brother said he saw the same 3 guys earlier sitting in a white ute. So my friend goes and takes a few photos of the car and notices it already has another bike in the back of it.

He then proceeds to call the police again and they arrive again but can't find any evidence and leave. Just as they leave the 3 guys rock up and get in the car and drive off.

My friend then once again calls the police and the guys are pulled over just up the street. Chances are again the police didn't find anything and they would have been let go again.

Damn, why don't laws protect the farking innocent?

srsly, guys were caught, next to a car with a damaged lock.

they probably threw the jimmy into a neighboring yard and waited.

its a little obvious they weren't taking a piss, there were 3 of them.

who pissed in a group like that.

secondly, they were squatting.

only chicks squat to piss.

third, if you were, you'd pop your head up, apologize, and walk away if you heard someone come out.

I say, if they have prints on your car, that attempted theft and you should be locked up.

hope you find these guys and destroy their lives.

This is all pretty f**ked up and I hope your mate doesn't have to suffer too much financially for someone elses dickheadery.

Karma will catchup with them.

is "karma" a rabbies infected pitbull?

Its always been like this, police never do shit for things like this.

Just before the police came your friend should have started bashing them, get a few hits in and kicks to the face, even if he will get beaten because there are three of them the police will come, break it up and then you can say they jumped you.

I'm having trouble understanding this. So this person calls the police about his car being broken into, police show up and see 3 guys acting suspicious around a car and don't do much about it.

Thought police would take this really seriously.

He didn't know what the outcome was going to be so that's why he called the police.

The guy is actually pretty good at MMA and he was sure he could have taken them out.

Now he knows what the police actually do, next time he won't call the police lol

    • For once a good news  It needed to be adjusted by that one nut and it is ok  At least something was easy But thank you very much for help. But a small issue is now(gearbox) that when the car is stationary you can hear "clinking" from gearbox so some of the bearing is 100% not that happy... It goes away once you push clutch so it is 100% gearbox. Just if you know...what that bearing could be? It sounding like "spun bearing" but it is louder.
    • Yeah, that's fine**. But the numbers you came up with are just wrong. Try it for yourself. Put in any voltage from the possible range and see what result you get. You get nonsense. ** When I say "fine", I mean, it's still shit. The very simple linear formula (slope & intercept) is shit for a sensor with a non-linear response. This is the curve, from your data above. Look at the CURVE! It's only really linear between about 30 and 90 °C. And if you used only that range to define a curve, it would be great. But you would go more and more wrong as you went to higher temps. And that is why the slope & intercept found when you use 50 and 150 as the end points is so bad halfway between those points. The real curve is a long way below the linear curve which just zips straight between the end points, like this one. You could probably use the same slope and a lower intercept, to move that straight line down, and spread the error out. But you would 5-10°C off in a lot of places. You'd need to say what temperature range you really wanted to be most right - say, 100 to 130, and plop the line closest to teh real curve in that region, which would make it quite wrong down at the lower temperatures. Let me just say that HPTuners are not being realistic in only allowing for a simple linear curve.
    • I feel I should re-iterate. The above picture is the only option available in the software and the blurb from HP Tuners I quoted earlier is the only way to add data to it and that's the description they offer as to how to figure it out. The only fields available is the blank box after (Input/ ) and the box right before = Output. Those are the only numbers that can be entered.
    • No, your formula is arse backwards. Mine is totally different to yours, and is the one I said was bang on at 50 and 150. I'll put your data into Excel (actually it already is, chart it and fit a linear fit to it, aiming to make it evenly wrong across the whole span. But not now. Other things to do first.
    • God damnit. The only option I actually have in the software is the one that is screenshotted. I am glad that I at least got it right... for those two points. Would it actually change anything if I chose/used 80C and 120C as the two points instead? My brain wants to imagine the formula put into HPtuners would be the same equation, otherwise none of this makes sense to me, unless: 1) The formula you put into VCM Scanner/HPTuners is always linear 2) The two points/input pairs are only arbitrary to choose (as the documentation implies) IF the actual scaling of the sensor is linear. then 3) If the scaling is not linear, the two points you choose matter a great deal, because the formula will draw a line between those two points only.
