OK - where are the results? And please don't tell me they are on a forum that I am not a member of or on Face Tube (of which I am also not a member). How about "they are on the official website" so I can access them?

Congrats to those who won stuff. I was not impressed with the timing gear, which didn't work on more than one of my runs, according to those watching. Overall, a good effort by the Antilag guys at a complex event, with some learning points for next year!

I have sent a message to Antilag via the official website. If I hear anything back, I will let you know.

Cheers.

Thanks, mate.

Having managed to run all Saturday on low boost (just 11 psi!! I blame aging vision and small letters on the Profec Spec B in the glove compartment!), I am quite surprised to finish up 17th in the 1/4 mile drag, with

13.106

1.070

169.27

A week later, at the 1 Day Classic Rally, I did a 12.86 with an indicated speed around 190 km/hr (only hand-held timing and no speed recording) - but I do have that on video! I will load it up when I get some time.

So, finally running high boost on the Sunday (22 psi - much better), I beat one of the R35s in the rolling start 800 metre runs - which is on the Antilag video on YouTube. He later ran a 258 km/hr in the 1000m drag. Unfortunately, the timing gear did not work on my first 1000m run but I had an indicated speed around 265 km/hr - and I did not get the camera system working until the following weekend! I had a crap start on the second run, when the timing system worked, so:

23.092

2.392

232.75

and then I could not stay for another run at the 1000m drags (flight to catch that evening). So, it seems like I need to do it again next year!!

Blame the Americans for that , i dont think they have built anything decent since this :P

That is a gorgeous car! Is that a Barracuda with a hemi? Just like the baddies had in Bullett?

Cheers.

    • Yep, it was only an option on the Q50 Hybrid.  Same in Japan as far as I know. And doesn't use a centre diff like the Suby's do, so not the same as the WRX.  But it also isn't a reactive AWD like other Nissan AWD vehicles are, eg. Murano/Xtrail/etc.
    • You should have got a Maine Coone then. Only thing is they're big. But so cool, and just like a dog. Or, just get yourself a high performance dog. That'll teach you for wanting Parkour indoors 😛
    • Are you thinking of Bens R32? I don't remember if his went through the bonnet itself, but it went through the chassis rail. Brad (RISKIN) bought it, and turned it into a track car. It's funny how anti people are of Jim Berry now. I remember when I pulled mine out (during an engine change) and inspected it and found it cracking badly. At that point in time so many people were even on SAU, were so pro Jim Berry, and that was after Bens GTR exploded his quite publically.
    • That's one of the reasons I got that breed, they look weird, the other reasons are they small, they are very vocal, and run around like they are on crack, I didn't want a breed that just sits around, these two are like kids on red cordial  My daughter has one, and it's a laugh riot, constantly doing Parkour around the house, sits on her shoulder, plays catch, and constantly runs around the house taking turns chasing the dog around, her Bermese though, just lays around with constant bitch face, and just looks on in utter disgust at the cat and dog playing together
    • I'm getting PTSD flashbacks seeing that name again.  With my turbo swift, I got 1,500km of street use on a Jim Berry clutch before it exploded and took out my input shaft with it.
