2 challenges in one month.

Challenge the first..

Body weight on the bar, squat till you can squat no more.

high bar, low bar, whatever..

each squat must break parallel (which means your hip crease when you bend, must be below the top of your knee at the bottom of each rep)

if you want to go Ass to Grass then go for it.

Challenge the next

Body weight x 1.5 on the bar, everything else the same.

Video from side so people can see depth.

Don't hurt yourself

Don't dodge this challenge.. at least do one of them.

If you can't squat your own bodyweight on your shoulders... STOP EVERYTHING!!!!

Put down your iPhone

Put down your designer microfibre towel

Walk over to the squat racks and squat the bar many time.

Add 5kg each side. place bar on upper back and squat many times

Continue doing this until you need to lie down for a while.

then lie down

then get up

then do 4 more sets.

Pick up your iPhone, micro fibre towel, your bottles of pre and intra workout drinks, full up your post work out drink bottle and drink it.

get home and eat many many animals and stuff animals eat.

go back in 2 days time and do it again.

repeat for 3 months.

challenge for the ladies? I don't know many girls who can squat their own body weight for reps

Really? I thought you trained at Elite Physique in Canberra. I saw 15 do it there at the last comp, only a handful were PL'ers, most were Crossfitters or physique competitors, a few went 2 x bw

Canberra has some very strong girls

might give this ago.

dont expect i'll get many reps out compared to others here but hey we will see. Weighed in at 67kg so I'll attempt at 70kg cause i'm a big kent like that.

not sure how to upload the video either

Birds - stay up top to breath out and in, then down.... towards the end you might need to stay up top a little longer to take 3 or 4 breaths so do it if you want.

Do what you think is right instead of looking for ways to cheat.. lol

I'd say your hands/shoulders and lower back will be fried before your legs give up anyway so resting in standing position to wards the end will be hard anyway.

FIGJAM - upload vid to youtube

link it here.

    • With the system, once you drive it for a bit, and before you turn the car off, does the car fix its date and time? When you say the date is wrong, what date does the vehicle think it is, and does it always show the same date? My thoughts from a process driven view is; The system may be defaulting to a standard start date/time. The main reason you'd typically see this occuring, is the system is losing its constant/backup power supply.   If its always defaulting to the same date/time at start up, and especially if it fixes itself while driving, I'd say either the non volatile memory has an issue, or the power supply to the volatile memory that stores this information.   The other thing I'd check is if there is anywhere in the system you can adjust the date and time from. If the date/time is still moving forward since it wished you happy new year, then it is 100% possible the system has just had a bit of data corruption occur, and you likely need to find a way to reset the date/time in the vehicle.
    • Scissor Jacks are an accident waiting to happen, the only time they should be used are in an roadside flat, even then a tyre and rim should be placed underneath
    • You know how your car rolled through a fence in your last jacking escapade? Scissor jacks increase the likely hood of that sort of thing happening immensely!
