Just reading from the other thread, lets see if we can compile a list. I'm a fan of Skylines but don't know any history, add to the list.

Don't know if the last was a 1 or 2 M-spec.

Nur(the U is meant to have two little dots above it) Spec is a GTR made specially for the nurimburg track, the one in germany takes 5 to 8 mins to do one lap.

You Also get special cars with the N1 engine which is Nismo's pure racing engines, these cars would be the fewest around if sold but you could enter a race using this engine straight from the factory.

The others you'd need to upgrade to a race spec.

I know 500 Gt-T's had N1 engines in them, the cars with a N1 engine in them hae N1 on the back in the upper right hand corner of the boot lid, so you can't mistake it with Nur.

HKS, made 5 special R32 GTR's post before mine has the name, but none were sold, although they were listed at 5+million yen or something, The pictures are in the Imports mag when they checked out HKS main factory.

The boss of HKS is apprantly keeping them all now, and is planning to do something with them sometime soon.

and no the Nur spec is not made to run in nuremburg (as it didn't seem to have the 120L tank that the one that ran in nurmburg had lol), its just a commemorative edition with added extras, also it was to signify the last R34's to be ever produced so they wanted to go out with a bang

yeah, limited run of 32, available in the option of auto or manual (so a lot of people chose auto coz noone has an auto GTR). retailed for 4 million yen on release. That's about it. check out the S&S Engineering japanese website for a bit of info.

The German track you're referring to is the Nurburgring Nordschleife (northern loop). Fastest time around there is by a road car belongs to a Pommy turbocharged Hayabusa-powered Westfied sports racer. Fastest "true street" belongs to Gemballa GTR850 EVO, Fastest "Production car" is still the McLaren F1 GTR

Almost! The Nur spec was produced to commemorate the R34 Skyline GT-Rs involvement in the Nurburgring 24hrs endurance race. Engine goodies and "extras" as you say were icluded, but yeah, it was also the last R34 GT-R...
