The 'SAU' penalty for driving whilst suspended is worse than death.

Everyone has choices.

If you choose to speed/DUI, DiaMD - you might (and prolly will) get busted - YOUR CHOICE

If you choose to drive whilst suspended - again ..... YOUR choice.

My choice is to recomend to your 'friend' to get a mental illness check - because he sounds like he is retarded for braking the law twice.

The penaty is - he gets what he deserves.

Simple as that.

:werd: mate of mine drove while his license was suspended for a month, so they extended it by 6 months. he drove again, he wrote off his car, broke his shoulder in 4 places, pin in his elbow, plate on the side of the head, blurry vision in one eye and he can't move his fingers up on one arm. Cops saw his state and decided not to press charges. He's a changed man now, and he's regaining use of his fingers.

damn shan

and also :werd:

brother inlaws work, if they see someone park in handicap zone and they arent obviously handicapped, he will get one of the workers to move their car infront of it and block them from getting out, then they call the cops. cops come, see this bmw blocked in handicapped zone, they ask for his lisence, he says he doesnt have it with him, they ask why, he says he lost it (not misplaced, he was suspended) so not only did this asshole lose his lisence and still drive, he brought attention to himself by parking in a handicap zone

doxxx: some guys in this world are just complete tards.. usually caries through to everything they touch.. world is better off without those sorts of people if you ask me.

Usually its a doubling of the original suspension if you are caught whilst driving while disqualified, and big whack of fines.

First time u will get off with just a fine, second they will threaten u will goal time, but most times its a suspended sentence. Still not a good thing to have a suspended sentence on your records.

B-Man

Dont preach about vic when u dont live here and know the BS we have to put up with. Also he could have just been pulled over and not being dong anything stupid, and yes it does happen here, cops r just assholes here.

me and a friend got busted dragging each other on highbury rd, my mate had already lost his licence so he quickly swapped seats with the passenger without thinking. anyways cut long story short they ended up confessing and he saidf that he was driving, and they had to go to court but all he got was a fat fine no more loss of licence

how the hell do you drive around with a suspended licence when you don't even know what the punishment is if you get caught...

Speaking from experience... If you get done and have your licence suspended YOUR DONE... ITS OVER... catch the train for a month you will be back driving before you know it!

GROW UP... BE SMART... and you will get away with so much more :)

    • Jack the back of the car up, pull that wheel off, pull that sensor out, and put a bore scope into the hole to inspect the outer casing, see if anything looks damaged before you pull the whole thing apart.
    • Ergh... So I pulled the speed sensor out again and the tip was shiny so I think it's rubbing the bearing. The bearing contains the magnets for the speed sensor so I think when the first sensor broke it damaged the magnet ring on the bearing.  This is just a Google image, but there is a hole going to the bearing. So when the tip broke off the old sensor I'm guessing it fouled the bearing... As the magnet is only protected by a plastic cover it would be easy to damage it. So I guess I'm doing a bearing again.
    • My thinking is that if the O2 sensor is shot then your entire above described experience is pure placebo.
    • Here is the mess that I made. That filler there was successful in filling dents in that area. But in the middle area. I can feel dents. And I've gone ocer it multiple times with filler. And the filler is no longer there because i accidently sanded it away. I've chased my tail on this job but this is something else lol. So I'm gonna attempt filler one more time and if it doesn't work I'll just high fill primer the door and see where the issues are because guidecoat is of no use atm.
    • Ok, so I think I sort of figured out where I went wrong. So I definitely overthinked it, and I over sanded, which is probably a large part of the problem. to fix it, I ended up tapping some spots that were likely to be high, made them low, filled them in, and I tackled small sections at a time, and it feels a lot better.    I think what confused me as well is you have the bare metal, and some spots darker and some are lighter, and when I run my finger across it, it' would feel like it's a low spot, but I think it's just a transition in different texture from metal to body filler.    When your finger's sliding on the body filler, and crosses over to the bare metal, going back and forth, it feels like it's a low spot. So I kept putting filler there and sanding, but I think it was just a transition in texture, nothing to do with the low or high spot. But the panel's feels a lot better, and I'm just going to end up priming it, and then I'll block it after with guide coat.   Ended up wasting just about all of my filler on this damn door lol
