Replacing Pcv Valve & Grommet

Hello,

My pcv valve is hissing, I have acquired a new valve and grommet.

My question is do I have to remove the cam cover to replace the grommet or does it push in from the outside?

pretty sure they pop in. warm it in hot water to make it a bit plyable.

however i changed mine when rocker cover was off.

Yeah you just pull the old, And push the new easy as.

Althought I did manage to get my little finger stuck in the pcv hole, Grommet made a nice seal around my finger lol.

Are you sure that was the pcv hole haha

Yeah it is an easy job! I need to replace the hose off that now... Will have to suss out the part number!

well.... it did come out dirty

I got the wrong hose for it. So had to use the old, Anyone got the part no. for the hose

ahhhh i love SAU. I karked mine whilst changing injectors. Might be the culprit to me blowing smoke on decel and hard left turns.
