R33 Blowing Heaps Of Smoke After Acceleration

hey people my 33 gtst it blowing heaps of smoke after boosting it hard iv got a feeling that its from the cam cover because it is fine anytime after that and it's a brand new turbo if it could be anything else let me know please

What do you mean from the cam cover? like is it coming out of it or out the exhaust?

And yes, it could be anything else.

sorry it's coming out the exhaust and what I meant was that i think it's coming out the cam cover into the plenum and out the exhaust

Have you got your vent hoses routed correctly?

When I first got my car it blew smoke out the exhaust when cold due to the catch can being routed incorrectly.

Worth a look anyway.

Otherwise, dodgy injector, turbo seal, etc.

If looking for specific engine wear issues that could cause it, then worn rings allow a lot of blowby when on boost, pushing oil up into the head, then worn valve stem seals allow the engine to suck the extra oil back into the cylinders, leading to smoky exhaust.

But given that few of these cars haven't been bastardised, as well as raped, by previous owners, do check the suggestions of the above posters.

catch can is vented to the atmosphere. the only problem I can think of is the oil getting though the PVC valve. it doesn't do it ON boost it only does it AFTER is been boosted HARD so it's not rings or turbo seal

yup that's exactly what it does. I did a oil change last night and it hasn't done it since but I used the same amsoil 10 40 so now I'm more confused

and when I say it was blowing smoke it was that bad cars were slowing down/stopping because they couldn't see

missed it but that is a very good point ill get the compression tested that shoud tell me if the rings are not sealing properly right? I ended up frying the clutch this morning so that's gone to the top of the list at the moment
