Side Pipes - Need A Retune?

As seen in my build thread, I recently installed a side pipe exhaust to my GTR (as pictured)

Does the car need a full retune due to the exhaust change? It's running a bit shit at the moment due to fouled plugs and the fact that it's been sitting in workshops for years but I wouldn't have thought it would need a full retune. Will the freer flowing exhaust start to lean out the engine? Could just a couple of power runs sort it out?

it shouldnt make a difference in your tune. . would only do that it the previous exhaust was restrictive. . change plugs and drive it like you stole it

For the sake of a few hundred bucks, it wouldn't be a bad idea to chuck it on and make sure it's all good. It wouldn't need a full tune, just a little tickle.

About the only place it might need a retune would be if the reduced restriction was allowing it to come on boost a little earlier. That region might need the fueling or timing tickled.

it will need to be checked. I have seen cars lean out alot after going to a half exhaust / side pipe.

it also depends how restrictive the old setup was.
